    Iirc many pundits said that he may have been a 1st round pick if that college season didn't get canceled due to COVID. He was trending upward and mashing to start the year before it got cut short.

    White Sox fans are just the worst! I know every fan base has bad apples but they seem to have more than everybody else, been to probably a dozen games there and every time I witnessed some sorta incident. Stopped wearing Tigers gear when I went just to try to avoid any said incidents.

    Also worth noting that Logan Webb is the Giants ace so it would be the in the Tigers best interest to try to avoid him.

    Petry mentioned the big drop in temperature as a potential reason. Probably not good for pitchers to warm up in high 70s and come game time it is in the mid to low 50s and wet.

    Giants SP Logan Webb was just seen making his way to the bullpen so hopefully that means the game will be starting soon....that or he forgot something out there and he is going to retrieve it. lol

    Anderson(whether it be a trade up or even better him dropping), Carter or trade down are my top 3 options at this point. Even though I know the odds are in the favor of them not doing one of those 3 things I still will be a little disappointed if they don't do one of them.

    Anthony Davis somehow injures is right arm while reaching for a rebound with his left arm. Only he could manage that one.

    Malloy on base 3 more times in 4 PAs today, raising his OPS to 1.036 on the season.

    I work for a Metro Detroit School District and I was happy to see in the past couple years our Varsity Baseball Team have more black athletes on it, I think there were 5 last year and we're at 7 this year out of the 15 total players on the team. Considering our enrollment is 40% black that means that percentage wise the baseball team basically lines right up to that.

    FTR I'm not giving up on Jung nor do I think he is a bust, cause it is a small sample size but I was just making a factual statement and that's that our guy has for the most part struggled in A ball as a professional and Neto is already up to the majors while playing the most premium position.

    Yeah Jung got on base 5 times yesterday which I didn't realize, before that his OPS was .700 for the season after posting in the 600s last year which is where the struggling to hit in A ball comment came from. I still find that to be true, one great game isn't going to change my stance that he has struggled to hit thus far given the competition.

    I saw something the other day that caught me by surprise and that was that there is only 5 black starting pitchers and 14 black pitchers in total in all the MLB. I knew there weren't many but I thought there would be quite a bit more than that.

    Lorenzen looking like trash, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since this is basically his rehab start but hopefully this type of performance isn't the norm with him.

    Was coming here to post this, the guy picked one pick after us is already starting in the majors at SS meanwhile our guy is struggling to hit in A ball, both are the same age as well. Thanks Al!

    I mean it is better than nothing but I agree that it should've been something more damaging to the organization than just a fine.

    There's a better chance of Avila getting rehired to run an MLB team than there is an MLB team trading for Baez.
