Haha I especially love the MITB idea if used like WWE does. SB winning team is up celebrating on stage only for MCDC to run out the tunnel to cash in on them.

Scouring box scores from last night and in the Mavs loss to the Rockets the Mavs starters scored a combined 29 points. Luka sat out last night so that hurt the the starters but still 29 points that's got to be close to a record low for a starting 5. Meanwhile Dinwiddie and Wood both put up 25+ coming off the bench.

Yeah I agree about the playing here suggestion, no it's not perfect solution but it seems to be the best one. I guess the only other option is to just have Cleveland host the game but that obviously would put the Bills at a disadvantage going from a home game to a true road game.

Damn KD throwing the guys right under the bus. It would've been bad enough to say something like "We just don't have the talent level of some of the top teams in the league" or something to that effect but he took it a step forward by actually using the guys names. Horrible comments aside he's not necessarily wrong about the talent level, it's crazy to see Brooklyn's fall from grace from that standpoint, a year or two ago it felt like they were loaded with All Star level talent now not so much. Gotta love it!

It's close but I think a Tigers hat as of now but personally I really don't care either way, things like that don't interest me one way or another. Theres a bunch of Hall of Famers that have played for multiple teams that I couldn't tell you who's hat they wore going in.

Week Ten: Detroit Lions (2-6) @ Chicago Bears (3-6)
RandyMarsh replied to MichiganCardinal's topic in Detroit Lions
I'm not saying it's necessarily true but when people talk about wins carrying over they're not so much "momentum" that carries over its the positive vibe you get from winning and believing that you can actually compete next year which makes you want to work that much harder in the offseason. Losing just creates a negative environment and makes it harder to get up every day and put the work in. -
Idk a statcast card like that is basically porn for a stat nerd like me. Lol
-
Teoscar Hernandez to the Ms for reliever Erik Swanson and prospect Adam Macko. Macko is the Ms 8th ranked prospect by pipeline with a 45 overall grade. Swanson's statcast page is sexy as hell so he looks to be a dominant reliever.

Beef Stew out atleast 2-3 weeks with a right big toe sprain. Will be re-evaluated in a couple weeks.

Normally I would agree but let's face it they really haven't been tested at all the whole season and outside of a brief moment in the Maryland game they never were even remotely in danger of losing so there was never a need to open up the playbook. Why expose any plays when the opponent can't stop your run game?
-
I still get the feeling UM has only scratched the surface of their playbook and are going to surprise people in Columbus in regards to some of the designs and plays you will see. Of course if JJ is off the mark it really doesn't matter but they've just been so vanilla on offense particularly in the red zone it just makes you think they have to be keeping a bunch of plays a secret.

I wonder how Biggs is taking the news of the Funkhouser DFA?

Dodgers starter Tyler Anderson just signed with the Angels so that leaves another opening in LAD's rotation further increasing the chances of JV going there.

Our old friend Derek Hill signed a Milb deal with a ST invite with the Nats today.

Just saw on ESPN that the Packers released return man Amari Rodgers, only reason I bring this up is you know some clickbait sites or tweeters are going to say something like "Struggling Packers release A. Rodgers".

Not sure if I can trust a guys who's surname starts with Brd, not having a vowel somewhere in there just isn't right

As long as it doesnt hurt his career long term I can't say Im upset or feel bad about that news. The Rams had their fun last year so I'm perfectly fine with them suffering this one.

11/14/2022 7:00 EST Toronto Raptors vs Detroit Pistons

Speaking of big men I dont know how he has been defensively but offensively looking at the stat sheet he's been pretty impressive and efficient and that's Bol Bol for Orlando. I was a little disappointed when the trade fell through cause I thought he had some potential and it appears he is hitting it. At the very least his length wouldve been of some use for us -
The year is 2030, we are in our 15th year of the "rebuild" but finally after 12 offseasons of adding 20lbs of muscles Victor Reyes now looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger develops his power and hits 20 home runs. We still lose a 100 games of course but somewhere Avila is sitting in his rocking chair with a smile saying to himself "that's my boy!"

When did the Commanders become decent? I thought they were like 2-7 or something but they are actually 4-5 with a chance to go to 5-5 as they are currently winning at undefeated Philly.

Seeing stuff like this that shows how much it means to the players is another reason I don't mind winning "meaningless" games. -

Not a pff subscriber so I don't have all the grades but I seen that St. Brown was the highest graded player on offense at an 89 and Jarrad Davis, yes Jarrad Davis was highest on defense at I believe 84. The lowest on the defense and team was actually Kerby Joseph who last week was the highest along with being the defender of the week in the NFC. Funny how quickly things can change. The free press also said the whole offensive line got good grades with Ragnow and Decker being the highest but they didnt print their numbers.
