One benefit that we do know of in drafting Hutch is we seen his Mom at the Orange Bowl and she is hot! To my knowledge Thibs Mom is still an unknown so if push comes to shove that could be something that tips the scales for Hutch.

Id be happy with Thibs or Hutch but my gut says if Hutch is there they are taking him. Thibs could be the guy in the draft that ends up being Myles Garrett and if he does and we pass on him that will most certainly suck but either way I think we will end up being happy with Hutch in the long run too. While he may not be that defacto All Pro I could see him being a perennial pro bowl type and a guy that fans will love as us Michigan fans already know.

Not watching the game just following on gamecast and it just feels like even when the Tigers do eek a out a run it always seems like such a struggle. Like they rarely get those big innings where a few runs happen in a short amount of time.

If Walker does go 1 that is a legendary meteoric rise, 2 or 3 months ago Im not sure he was even if the top 10 according to the national mocks. Of course the national big boards may not mirror NFL team big boards so for all we know Walker couldve been near the top on those from the start and his combine numbers just solidified that for teams.

Ja reminds me of a young D-Rose in terms of athletic ability but I'm not even sure if Rose had the type of bunnies that Ja has. Dude can jump out of the gym but for his sake hopefully it doesn't lead to long term injuries like Rose had.

After doing some more research on the subject I think Jeremy Bonderman is probably not only the first Tiger younger than me but quite possibly the first professional athlete in general. He's only 3 weeks younger than me and he started in April of 2003 at 20 years old and 6 months. He most certainly has to be the first Tiger but I'll have to do more research to see if he's the first athlete in general.

I hate saying anything nice about the Twins but I love the powder blue jerseys. I wish more teams would go with that look.

I do think this coming year Casey needs to be under a microscope and management has to determine whether they want him being their coach for a roster that they expect to compete with. The past couple years and probably next he is fine in the "Ron Gardenhire role" of being sorta a mentor for the young guys but the Pistons will have to see if they want to get their AJ Hinch to coach them when they expect to compete or are fine with the old coach.

Id be over the moon with Thibs, Pickens and Brisker as our first 3 picks. I prefer Cine and Hill over Brisker but he's in that same tier for me so if they're gone I'd be fine with him.

I still gotta couple older than me but not many which makes me sad. I don't remember the first baseball player I was older than but the first basketball player that I knew of atleast was Darko. He was about 3 years younger than me so I'm sure there were others before him but he's the first one I remember seeing their birthdate of and realizing that a pro athlete was younger than me. Edit: after thinking about it, I only have Miggy by like 6 months so when he debuted at the age of 19 for the Marlins he may have been the first pro athlete I was older than. That's kinda cool.

Personally I don't care what a guys motivation is to be great, if it's a competitive nature and need to be the best and win then perfect but if it's only to be great so he can build his brand and make the most money than that works too as long as they work and strive to be great is what ultimately matters to me.
