Looking back at the results, in the 58 games pre ASB we had between 16 or 17 where you can say we were blown out, by that I'm saying trailing by either 20+ heading into the 4th or 15+ with like 6 minutes to go, in the 19 games since we've had zero. From going at a rate of about 1 in 4 games to 19 straight without one is quite a remarkable turnaround. That is of course just one of many stats that illustrates how much better we've been playing.

Not the best outcome for tank purposes but really I don't mind that much, it's nice to see this team continue to play better and close out a quality opponent. Even if we win out the worst we can finish is 5th and that would take Indy losing all their games so more than likely the worst we'll finish is 4th. In a draft like this that's not the worst thing in the world so I'm just going to continue to root for them to play the best they can this last week or so, if they somehow manage to win all of them so be it.

Just saw on twitter that Tim Anderson has to miss the first 2 games of the regular season due to a carry over suspension from last year, we of course start the season with the White Sox so it's nice to know that we won't be seeing him kill us the first 2 games of the seasons.

Judging by his triple slash numbers Haase has had a solid spring, after his disastrous finish to the season last year I basically convinced myself that he just had a lucky couple months and not to expect anything from him going forward but if he indeed proves to not be a flash in the pan and gives the Tigers even passable numbers that is an unexpected bonus, atleast in my mind and projections.

Bobby Wagner to the Rams 5/50(no word on the guarantees), yeah just give us that 2023 32nd pick now and be done with it.

I don't think he will ever be confused with Clemente but I don't think he's Johnny Damon either so basically I say it's good enough for either position. Atleast from what I have read. Of course in this day and age with less and less traffic on the base paths arm strength and accuracy doesn't mean as much as it might have before.

From what I understand just like all other facets of running an organization the Dodgers spend many times the amount on scouting and development as other teams so that is another reason why they always have a deep system.

Barring a setback or injury to Cade I fully expect the Pistons to atleast be in competition for one of the play in spots next season and if they aren't that will be really disappointing. Since Cade has started hitting his stride a couple months ago they've basically played at or close to that level so you'd expect with another off season of growth from him, a full season of Bagley(assuming they resign him) and a top pick that they should play even better next season.

I don't see the Lions taking a QB this draft either. I think first and foremost they just don't love any of them but I also think they want to give Goff a full year with better weapons and health for him and see how things go. Him and the team played much better the last 6 weeks after he returned from injury and St. Brown emerged, I think Holmes and company want to see if they can do that for a full year. If a Trevor Lawrence was sitting there I'm sure they would take him but that isn't the case.

That's why I never bought into the folks that essentially say non lottery 1st rounders are worthless. Yeah the likelihood of you finding a superstar with one of those picks is pretty damn small but you can get valuable pieces that could be a third or possibly even 2nd option on a championship caliber team.

I saw Victor Reyes not only hit a HR but it was an absolute bomb, perhaps this offseason's 25lb of muscle is the 25lb of muscle that finally does get him to develop some HR power.

Not Tigers related but Pujols just signed a 1 year deal with the Cardinals. He's sitting on 679 HRs, he hit 17 last year so there's a chance he can get to 700 this year if he gets enough ABs. Would be cool to not only see him get there but to see him do it in a Cardinals uniform.

It is pretty crazy that the Knicks have only won one playoff series since 2000 and only have one 50 win season since then as well.

Of course if you're of the belief that the team can win with Goff if we put enough talent around him so no need to draft a qb then having 2 top 6 picks and 4 in the top 34 would be awfully appealing. Adding for instance Thibs/Walker/Hamilton, Drake London and whoever you prefer at 32 and 34 could really transform this team.

Would they settle for the Rams pick? lol I might be willing to trade our own pick if I knew we were going to take Willis at 2 or the Giants pick. Reason being is that if that were the case then we wouldn't be in the market for a QB next draft so I wouldn't be as concerned with not having our own pick. If we made the trade and didn't take Willis then come next draft we would still be without a future QB and with us only having the Rams pick which will likely be at the end of the 1st we would have a hard time being able to draft that guy next year either.

Brusdar Graterol from the Dodgers would fit that role to a T. Was highly touted as a prospect, Routinely goes over 100mph, has some control problems(3.5BB/9) and most importantly is plump with room to grow. Don't think the Dodgers are interested in trading him, particularly since Jansen left them but if Avila is serious about filling that important void he should see what it would take to get him.

Big 10 still without a championship since 2000 and before that 1989, so in 32 years they've won 1 championship. That just doesn't seem possible.

I saw a stat that somebody posted on a page I follow on FB that said Pistons are shooting 29% on "good looks"(don't know what that classifies as) from 3 off of Cade's passes. Not sure what the league average is on "good looks" but let's conservatively say 35%, how many assists is he being robbed of by poor shooting?

It is a time honored tradition that the Tigers have a thicc reliever in their bullpen so not having one creates a major void. Cisnero is listed at 260 so perhaps he can start rooming with Paredes and try to get himself up to 280ish so he could fill that spot.

Washington hangs on for the 100-97 win. Cade with 22pts(11-22FG no FT attempts), 9 assists and 7 boards. Bagley with 25 and 5 boards. I watched the last quarter and a half and it was an entertaining game but Pistons were ultimately undone by their outside shooting, 6-32 on the night including McGruder going 1-12. Cade hit a couple clutch mid range jumpers in the last minute but forced an awkward shot at the rim in the 2nd to last possession and missed. Probably should've pulled it back out or passed instead of forcing that but oh well it happens. Porzingis looked like his 2016 self and killed us.
