  1. Perhaps that is a good sign for Michigan since Tennessee got a boost for beating Kentucky and winning the SEC Tourney. Maybe Tennessee isn't as good as those wins indicated.
  2. Pistons now move 1.5 up(or back depending on how you view it) of the Magic for the 2nd worst record in the league. Currently they are 1.5 back of Orlando and Houston but Houston is percentage points worse than Orlando. OKC is a 1.5 back of us in the 4th spot. We're 4 back of Indy at 5th spot so barring something crazy we should be no worse than 4th at the time of the lottery which gives you a 48.1 chance at top 4 pick and 12.5 at number 1. For reminder the top 3 all have 52.1 at getting top 4 pick and 14% at 1. https://www.tankathon.com/
  3. Magic foul Bey with 10 seconds and Bey makes both FTs to finish with 51 to go with 10 boards. Helluva game!!
  4. Bey with 49 now on 10 3s with a minute left. Pistons just had a 3 on 1 fast break with Bey trailing, if only Bagley dumped it off to him for the bunny, instead Bagley kept it himself and drew the foul.
  5. Bagley in 9 games since the break is averaging 16 and 9 on 58% shooting(62% on 2s). BTW Bey now with 44, almost 47 but his last 3 was taken away on a moving screen.
  6. Big 10 off to another rough start to the tourney, Iowa already lost to Richmond and Indiana is currently down 12 at halftime to St. Mary's.
  7. https://www.mlb.com/prospects/2022/top100/ New pipeline top 100 with Witt at number 1. No surprise but Tork, Greene and Jobe are the only Tigers to make the list at 4, 5 and 40 respectively.
  8. Packers are getting the Raiders 1st and 2nd in this draft. May not be good news if you're in the WR at 32 camp cause I wouldn't be surprised if GB doubles up on WRs with their 2 1st rounders.
  9. Bey with 31 in the first half. That's gotta be close to a Pistons record for a half I would assume.
  10. Chargers get Khalil Mack, Broncos get Russell Wilson and Gregory, now the Raiders get Adams. I seem to recall a couple other big names going there too but I'm too lazy to go look it up.
  11. Tennessee wins so we get them on Saturday. According to my ESPN app the game is set for midnight but something tells me that isn't accurate.lol
  12. Allen Robinson to the Rams for 3/45 with 30 guaranteed. Sounds like they still want to bring back OBJ too. I'm sure we'll be getting the 32nd pick again next year
  13. I wonder why Watson didn't want to go to Cleveland?(well other than it being Cleveland) They got some nice pieces on defense including arguably the best pass rusher in football and on offense they just got Cooper and have a premium rb in Chubb. Also I believe the Browns have a fairly big fanbase throughout the country. I think they are in much better shape and more attractive than the Saints and Falcons for sure and possibly the Panthers as well.
  14. Dealing for Oakland pitchers always concerns me, aside from their Park being so friendly the franchise seems to be pitching whisperers of sort. I don't have the evidence to back it up at this time but it "seems" like they decline after leaving there.
  15. Watson eliminated the Browns from contention so maybe Baker will be back there. Also with them being eliminated that means he is almost assured to be coming to the NFC with the Saints, Falcons and Panthers being the 3 teams left talking to him.
  16. A good offense doesnt magically make a defense better per se but it can help the overall numbers by keeping the defense off the field more. After all the more time your offense has the ball the less time your bad defense is out there.
  17. The rich get richer, Freeman to the Dodgers for 6/163.
  18. Speaking of announcers Rod Allen just got hired by the Marlins to be their TV analyst.
  19. Joe Buck is leaving Fox to do MNF with Aikman. I know Buck is kinda a polarizing announcer so for those that don't like him take solace in knowing you won't have to listen to him call the Tigers World Series games in the coming years.
  20. Hopefully that'll happen with us and Verlander before he retires.
  21. Yeah while quick rebuilds can happen in the NFL it was unrealistic to expect the Lions to be one of those considering how barren their roster was so it never really made sense to make a big splash in FA this year. Unlike other sports where you can sign a young player a year or two ahead of your timeline with the hopes of them being here when you're good in a sport like football that is a dangerous proposition. No matter the age you routinely see guys performance nose dive in any given year because the nature of the sport so you're playing russian roulette signing a guy to big money in hopes that they will still be that same player a year or two from now, even if they aren't that old.
  22. I wonder if Rodgers coming back changed the Lions strategy at all? Perhaps if he would've left the division the Lions may have saw an opening and spent some money to try to expedite their timeline but since he didn't they figured the smart thing would just be to stay the course and open up the wallet at another time.
  23. I think the Lions are also hoping for some progression within with the likes of Levi, McNeil, J Okwara and maybe Barnes. If they get a couple of those guys to progress, along with an impact defender at 2 and possibly another solid one later on in the draft then the defense may look alot better.
  24. I think the guys they brought back thus far were productive guys, just cause the defense sucked as a whole doesnt mean every player did. The Lions defense was horrible with guys like Slay and Diggs yet fans got mad when they got rid of them. I think the Lions figure to try to improve through the draft while keeping the players they thought were good.
