  1. I was always given #15 because the jerseys went small yo large in size and number. And nobody good wore that # in the early 80s. I finally got #4 in high school being a freshman. By the time I was a junior that was too small so I took 4 squared. (Bo Jackson)
  2. They’re often the ones doing the exposing.
  3. am I going to have to like Thomas Massie?
  4. He should lock the whole thing. “If you want to have them pick up litter on the roads like drunk drivers doing community service, that’s on you”. Then treat those unfortunate service members sent on a dog and pony show with respect. Give them more than TX or the feds would.
  5. I do. Because polling and approval ratings and traditional optics no longer apply.
  6. The trouble is I’ve not seen any of these updates from reputable sources or at least ones I’ve recognized. I haven’t searched it out and may be out of the loop, I admit. But I have been burned too many times getting excited over “this time Trumps really going down” events from the Eric Garland’s and the Seth Abramsons of the world
  7. I just realized that I haven’t thought of Rudy in years. Someone so involved in Trumps **** and he’s nowhere now.
  8. I’m hip to that. This team bonded last year and I’m sure built up its own internal chemistry and hierarchy. JV is a strong personality. Maybe they know something about his philosophies and that doesn’t vibe with Fetter. but I also can go with the idea that if Harris knew what he knows now he’d have done it. Maybe we are overthinking it. Like it makes sense to not do it for sentimental reasons-JVs legacy, coming home, etc. But also don’t do it for sentimental reasons in the sense of chemistry and any kind of big dog conflict with Skubal This contradicts each other. So yeah, maybe Harris and Co were just wrong. It happens.
  9. What happened to Rudy?
  10. I’d like to see 96 wins. Tops any year since ‘87.
  11. They don’t know how to dictionary down in the sticks. They just go by whatever pedo pastor Bob tells them.
  12. Seriously Christian victimhood is so overblown and tiring. You’d think it’s illegal or something. When I see people doing that I immediately assume they are both not a real Christian and cowards.
  13. They can’t walk into a Chick Fil A without packing. Never know when a brown person might be around.
  14. The only joke here is you.
  15. I understand. And I’m sure I am having a bias because like you say, with some guys it can be thought of as an obviously you go situation. what I have to remember is the calculation isn’t a direct one. It isn’t safe vs outs on throws home. You can count some safe runners evenwhen no throw was made
  16. It wasn’t a fight but I remember Craig Monroe hit a big home run, maybe a grand slam, and when he got to the plate to celebrate with the others AJ stood right behind was the plate after Craig touched the home. The players were hugging and stuff and someone bumped into AJ and got mad. AJ being AJ he was a jerk to the point of still having plausible deniability. “What? I am just standing here where the catcher stands…” I aways liked him.
  17. I do recall him saying that. I don’t believe it. But I’m also not a know it all. If I am wrong so be it.
  18. The ****ing run on contact play has been a thing since Lamont. Why? I’ve never seen it work and other teams don’t do it as often.
  19. We have a broken system of government and a media with an unstable business model. There’s nothing to hold either institution accountable at this stage in our history. What we have leaned in 9 years is “so what? What are you going to do about it?” is an effective answer now when someone does something wrong and is told they did something wrong
  20. I'm back in the office 3-4 days a week now and because of how we're set up I don't look at the internet as much as I used to... that has helped me. But it's also a kind of ignorance of the worst kind. Just because you don't hear about it doesn't make it go away. But there's really nothing I can do about it either. I vote. I donate. I tell others. But I can't vote for them and their minds won't be changed. It's akin to wearing a ribbon to fight breast cancer.
  21. They should do a Curb revival and treat Cheryl Hines like they did OJ in the new Naked Gun.
  22. My wife is not reactionary and in the medical field with old peoole. She thinks he has congestive heart failure.
  23. They can fix him like the Braves fixed Robbie Grossman.
