chasfh Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 As "hot" as the 11-8 Tigers are and cold as the 3-13 Cardinals are, don't be surprised if we lose the series or even get swept, because that's how baseball works. At least I won't abandon the ship if it happens. 1 Quote
SoCalTiger Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Aye Aye Captain I will hoist the sail but we have Lolich pitching so don’t worry. Mathew Lolich. 1 Quote
Fat Bastard Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 (edited) If there was ever a time to play on the road in St. Louis it is now. Their pitching has been horrific this season, and hopefully will continue to do so. This is baseball, and more particular our Tigers we are talking about however haha, but I feel confident we can go in and win this series. Edited May 5, 2023 by Fat Bastard Quote

If we can stay sharp and focused and A.J. can continue pushing the right buttons, we can mos def win this series. 1 Quote

RandyMarsh Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 With the way Miggy looks I wish this would've been pre universal DH rules and our pitchers would get to bat. 1 1 Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Has anyone heard a thing about Austin Meadows? Is he done for good? How much longer does Schoop get? Quote

Last I heard on Meadows, he is on 60-day IL now. Hope the dude gets help, still has the talent. Schoop will continue to get chances until a viable alternative is found for him; that is not the case right now. Quote
chasfh Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 This is the good Javy I told you guys about when we signed him. 1 1 Quote
chasfh Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 (edited) Bad as the numbers are, I do like how the Cardinals broadcast holds the hitter’s stats on the screen for at least the first several pitches. Edited May 6, 2023 by chasfh Quote
Fat Bastard Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Loved Javy's approach on that AB. Nice start, now let's see what Boyd can do. Quote

RandyMarsh Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Erod has inspired Javy, they both realized that if they perform they can get the hell out of here at the end of the year! 1 Quote
