There's a lot going on here, from him fumbling the papers, to the papers being blank sheets, to him mistakenly referring to the EU instead of the UK. To Kier Starmer wishing he were anywhere else.

WOW

In some cases, there are people who were brought here through no fault of their own, as unemancipated minors (ie. DACA kids). This administration treats these individuals just like everybody else, and on a moral level, it is just wrong.

There's no sugar coating it. A person shouldn't be locked up and sent to El Salvador or Libya or wherever under any circumstances, but this is especially true of people who ended up here through no fault of their own. Seems like a pretty obvious point.

If you ask me, if we let have let you live in this country and work and pay taxes for 5 yrs and the US gov hasn't deemed it worth its while to find you or stop your employer from employing you,  you should be guaranteed a route to citizenship.

Another stupid conflict, generated in whole by the Ayatollahs need to whip up domestic political support and their attempts to build a proxy empire. There had been no historical animosity between Iran and Israel until after the Iranian revolution.

Hmmm. People are speculating that the **** is about to hit the fan in the Iran/Isreal conflict.

sounds like someone's fee-fees got hurt and now he's dropping a nuke to make himself feel better

No nukes. However, Iran has run out of cards to play. Israel has a free run of Iran if it wants it. Trump doesn’t appear too interested in suggesting Bibi cease operations. Israel has said they intend to complete their 14 days plan. Maybe there is more than talk here. We’ll see.

I was reliable told there would be no new wars

I don’t think the Iranian/Israeli conflict is anything new. I’ve read some things in the last hour or so that are concerning regarding our military presence in that area. In all seriousness, this has the potential to get crazy fast.

If Israel took out the Ayatollah that would definitely merit a National Security team meeting.

Supposedly Trump told Bibi that was a no go. It has been discussed. Getting crazy.

It's probably in the US interest that they get a deal while Israel is still on the offensive  - once Iran thinks Israel is done it will be harder to get Iran to deal.

For sure. The issue is, I don’t know that Iran has any credibility left as far as deal making goes. As long as the current regime is large and in charge, nothing is going to change. They cannot be trusted. Ever.

WaPO is currently running this red "Breaking News" Banner on the site's front page:

Breaking: Trump officials reverse guidance exempting farms, hotels from immigration raids.

Sadly the link does not go anywhere yet. If the Taco has ReTaco'd, do you get a Chimi?

Got to meet the quotas.

So the easy remedy...

Is for Trump and all his Republican cohorts to send their children and grandchildren out to the fields to pick all the avocados.

But that's just me.

I know Trump's remedy will be different:

He'll offer free labor to all the farmers: Prison inmates. $0 cost to farmers. $0 salaries paid. And who could Trump possibly want to incarcerate at sky-high rates...?

Hmmm... let me think on that one...

DeSantis tried to fill the Florida labor gap with child labor, but his bill which would have eliminated those annoying lunch breaks for teens and would have allowed 14 year-olds to work the night shift failed in the Florida senate.

Until this I had forgotten about Rhonda.  Wasn’t it like 2.5 years ago he was assumed to be the next president?
