Cars are considered Made in America if the final assembly is in the US. I don’t see a difference here.

If you are the party in power you should be at about defcon2 about now.

Jobs and the cost of living are two of the few things that even Trump can't lie his was past. Everybody shops. Everybody knows when their kids or neighbors are getting laid off.  UE is up by 10% and 2.7 year over years inflation is still well above the noticeable level.
