I’m never more grateful to live in a border town than when the Olympics come around.

That’s what we are watching. They noted the boos.

do our GOP apologists even know that the CA redistricting move was designed to not even take effect unless Tx went through with theirs? How's that old song go?: "One of these things is not like the other....."

So they called the tune and now they are sorry when they find out the others guys can dance it better then they can.

Re: gerrymandering...

At first I hated all of this.

Then I realized that this doesn't necessarily mean that the districts are less competitive... That's what I want. It could make more competitive districts. It could make fewer.

Speaking of Cornyn, looks like there is very good chance Ken Paxton will take him down in the primary. One of the consequences of the disaffection for Trump among independents is that GOP primary electorates are likely to get even more MAGA. That should put general election races in play for the Dems that would not have been.

True. He either posted that meme or approved it. Its just shows a certain amount of stupidity. I mean, how many times has he said something stupid and his base has to comes out and said he was only kidding? His mouth works faster than his brain, which is deteriorating quickly.

He's not known for being funny or even having a sense of humor, so it's especially laughable when he or his apologists claim that he was 'just kidding.'

Every time he tries to be humorous, it comes off as immature and shallow and not funny or clever all.  He's the middle school bully who says stupid stuff and all his friends have to laugh so they they can be cool even though they know it's stupid.

So, I'm looking at the Dem redistricting plans for Virginia and from the practical aspect of having to run and serve the voters, having a district that spread east to west is a pain in the ass for the rep.

But, if it punishes the autocratic methods of the GOP who are trying to disenfranchise everyone in favor of the ruling junta.  So, yep...bring it.

If you think Donald is funny, you likely find Jim Breuer hilarious.

The current Ninth District has been that way for a while. Rural and stretches from  Halifax/Danville up thru the Charlottesville suburbs. Very Red. The last couple of GOP nominating votes were a real bear

The only time I see him laugh is when he's laughing at somebody. Usually after making up a childish nickname.

If this is necessary for a bloodless Revolution so be it
