Oil prices are up nearly 8% so far today at over $73/barrel for crude. I suspect with the Straits of Hormuz being completely shutdown now that this problem only escalates and oil prices spike further up. This will of course cause gas prices to climb higher and higher in the coming weeks. People often measure their feelings about inflation on the price of gas. They're already on edge about the cost of living. If and when gas prices jump markedly higher, Trump is going to get ROASTED on gas prices just as Biden did when he was in office. FAFO.

Regular gas price is $2.89 in our neck of the woods. Thank goodness we filled up Friday Kroger Monopoly Points

I'm filling up today because tomorrow and everyday there after is going to be a lot worse for the near future.

I'm so glad we got rid of those war mongering presidents. BTW< three US planes shot down by friendly fire. What amazing competence. WINNING!

Trump was right—I'm tired of this kind of winning.

When George DubyaMD Bush invaded Iraq he started with far higher approval ratings than this. I believe there was near 80% support, or higher, for Bush's invasion in Iraq. if Trump is truly in this kind of a hole already at that start of the Iran War, something tells me it won't be getting better anytime soon. Especially with his political inability to stay on message. At least Bush largely kept all of his lies and BS on message.

I'm sure they'll have it ready in two weeks or so....

It's on a "Concept Board" right now.

Or at least it's, conceptually, inside someone's head right now...

But they haven't identified who that person is...

Maybe they'll think about the concept a few more weeks...

Maybe.

The EV in the drive is looking really good.

We have a hybrid Tuscon. Very good gas milage, especially in EV mode. Highway milage over 40 MPG. We estimated the cost to install whatever is needed for a charging station in our garage would not be worth it in the long run for now.

Also the battery would probably take up a large portion of storage space in the car

I am not even sure what the media is anymore.  A subscription is required for almost everything thing now and what they were giving us before isn't worth ****, so I haven't signed up for anything.  I look for stuff on bluesky and twitter and try piece together what's happening.
