1984Echoes Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I believe the Lions wanted him at a lower price point to manage the cap and extensions. He's still sitting out there so I imagine his price point is coming down now... Quote
1984Echoes Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Plus we just "priority signed" his nephew as an UDFA for training camp. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Only $36 million guaranteed. Seems like a good deal. Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Of course TeSlaa looked explosive against other rookies. Let's see how he does running routes against real competition and getting muscled or jammed at the line by CBs and Safeties. That said, I'd rather hear good news about him than bad, so this is encouraging. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted May 9 Posted May 9 I was posting it for the fact Ratledge was taking reps at center. Quote

Hopefully he or Frazier can become the new Glasgow. If I was a bettin' man I'd put that on Frazier. They're both being cross-trained at Center. I like the idea of Mahogany at LG and Ratledge at RG better anyways. Push Glasgow to first backup at the 3 interior positions. And Frazier the "heir-apparent" to Glasgow. IMO. Quote
Nate7474 Posted May 12 Posted May 12 I wouldn’t make it a sure thing that Mahogany is going to be one of the starters. I think that’s why they were ok with also using draft capital on Frazier. It gives them security in case a couple of the interior candidates fail. It will be an interesting camp battle between the 4 players going for those 2 positions. Quote
sagnam Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Holy cow, Bengals Bengals executive vice president Katie Blackburn has said, “it’s on [Hendrickson] to be happy at some point” and that Hendrickson “should be happy at certain rates that maybe he doesn’t think he’d be happy at.” Trey Hendrickson: No communication with Bengals has taken place since the draft Quote
lordstanley Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Has this been posted already? Lions won’t be in the opener vs Philly. Quote

IMO. glasgow is a candidate to get cut. if one of the rookies can play center - plus all the centers/iol's they have from last year they were developing yields one solid player - then i would bet glasgow does get cut. Motor City Sonics Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Horrible What If scenario. What if Jared Goff got hurt in training camp..............and Aaron Rodgers was still out there? That would be horrifying to me. Quote

Good thing I’m not an admin because this kind of post would be worth like a week suspension in my book. 😆 1 Quote
Stanley70 Posted May 14 Posted May 14 That would be an extreme violation of the no-turd policy. I'd rather try to trade for Mitch Trubisky or someone like that. Quote

I think Kirk Cousins would the obvious replacement. But Goff isn’t going to get hurt anyway. 🙉🙉🙉 Quote

Rogers is human excrement Quote
Motown Bombers Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Cousins would be obvious from an on field perspective, but I have no idea how they work that contract in. Quote
