I peeked a couple times at my phone during dinner, which was a great green curry at a Thai place. But we were behind and a couple hours later when I looked at the phone, I expected to see bad news, but eight runs in the last two innings? Wow.

this was a shock after watching Mize struggle through the early part of the game.  He went 7 full innings!  And got the win?  I went to bed after the 6th.

You made me think of that corny song  "Shannon has gone, I hope she's drifting out to sea..."    It was about Carl Wilson's dog dying.  I also had a dog named Shannon in the late 70s and I hated that song.

After his ST performance I was reconsidering by pessimism about Malloy, but he has turned out to be about as disappointing so far as I had earlier feared. The plate discipline to walk a lot is a great thing, but it's something you need in addition to being able to hit some; it's not a replacement for it.

When he came up Last year I thought Jace looked like a bat than couldn't field, this year he looks like a glove that can't hit. 🤷‍♂️

I went to bed at some point right before the rally.  After the Pistons game I was drained and have a 5 am wakeup call on Fridays so I needed to get to bed.  A nice surprise when I woke up and saw the alerts.

Both Malloy and Jung can benefit from more seasoning at Toledo.  Easy decision when Vierling and Meadows are ready.

Sounds about right - however, you may be missing the IL as someone will be on it. Just simply an annoying fact for ALL teams.

The rookies are not quite what they will be.  Perhaps, one of these guys is Eugenio Suarez.  And, perhaps one of them is Mike Ivy.

So glad I decided to go at the last minute. And surprisingly I even stayed till the end and didn’t leave when they were losing since that’s usually what happens there. What a game. What a team. El Mago so nice to see you again
