Best part of last night:  Morning Joe suffering in their segment declaring that Aaron Judge is the greatest RH hitter of the modern era.

We should win this game because we have the best pitcher in baseball on the mound and we’re on a roll, but there’s no reason to think that the Red Sox are going to curl up and die. They kept answering last night and they are a proud team of professionals. I expect them to come out of the gate with tremendous fury like a waterspout that rises up to flatten resort homes on the Florida coast. Hopefully the Tigers have a great sea wall in Skubal and the offense will not go flat.

somebody do a meme of Skubal as Gandalf on the bridge of Khazad Dum.  "You Shall Not PASS!"

"¡No Pasarán!" ("They Shall Not Pass!") was a rallying cry for the Republican forces during the Spanish Civil War, coined by Dolores Ibárruri, a prominent Republican politician.

Imagine being an Orioles fan and waiting for years to be good, you get there and then instead of trying to get over the top you watch your ace and your power hitter leave and not replace them and now - one of the worst teams in baseball.   Gotta be frustrating.    I don't care, but it's gotta be frustrating.

Glad we didn’t end up with someone like Anthony Santander. 190 Avg, 5 HR, 16 RBI, 28 Hits For the Blue Jays for almost $20 million a year for five years. He might hit a whole 20 home runs and drive in 65 runs this year wow. I feel bad for the Orioles fans, but the people running the franchise got what they deserved.

Harris, you had a chance to impress me last winter, but you let it pass.  All you had to do was get rid of Torkelson and Baez.  Trade Torkelson for a bag of balls, he's had more than enough time.  And Baez, just cut him, just eat the money, move on.  Show us that you run an organization that isn't afraid to admit its mistakes.

At what point will Tiger fans start being concerned about our BP? Or the way Hinch is using it? Winning games covers up a lot of flaws

So who's out?

they said yesterday that Malloy wasn't going to see much playing time in the next two weeks with all RH pitching in the offing so maybe they decided to swap him for a LH bat with occasional (very) power. Either that or Riley hurt himself on a dive again.
