But OK, while I don't agree with it, I see your opinion. Like I said, we'll ll never know unless they're asked. Torres has 4 SB on the year. So they've had him straight steal plenty. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted May 25 Posted May 25 MLB is gonna cancel the Cy Young award vote and hand it to Skubal. 😅😅 Quote

Shinzaki Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Old enough to have seen prime Lolich, Morris, Verlander and Max in Detroit. Skubal is right there with them..if not better. Dominant start today 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted May 25 Posted May 25 So Cleveland gained 2 games on us in the standings this weekend but in the last 10 games? Tigers 5-5 and the Guardians are 4-6. So we gained a game on them in the last 10 games. Quote

And despite the wobbly weekend, the division lead is back up to 3.5, the Tigers have the 2nd best record in MLB just 1 game back of Philly, and at 34-20 they hit the 1/3 mark of the season on 102-60 pace. 1 Quote

Sports_Freak Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Cleveland shows how incredibly hard it is to sweep a 4 game series. Quote
SoCalTiger Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Skubal come up big in Stopper style. Biggest win of the year so far for me avoiding the sweep and igniting the Guardians while adding pressure on the Tigers Back to work tomorrow boys don’t celebrate too much. 1 Quote

Mize pitched well, Olson isn't going to be out long, Vierling is back and Parker is playing OF at AAA. They are still in good shape everywhere other than the bullpen, and Hinch is as good as they come at finessing any weaknesses there. One more guy who throws hard to work short would be nice though.... Quote
