papalawrence Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Had to watch with MN feed. They felt the tipped pitch hit the ground. Imho from replay it would not have been overturned. Good to win games like this Maybe Montero can be a pleasant surprise Quote

lordstanley Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago 4 of the Tigers' past 5 wins have been by 1 run. 6-5 over LA Angels last Friday, 2-1 over the White Sox, 1-0 over the White Sox and 4-3 over the Twins. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago This doesn’t feel like a game we deserved win, but to paraphrase Otto von Bismarck “God has a special providence for fools, drunkards, and the Detroit Tigers.” 1 Quote

He does it every AB, and most anytime they show him on camera for more than five seconds. Wide eye, raised eyebrows. This is one of those things where you're not gonna believe you didn't it notice it before with how often he does it. Edited 12 hours ago by TigerNation Quote
IdahoBert Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Riley‘s tightly wound, he’s a bundle of nerves, that’s part of his energy field. It’s not a big deal. Quote
Tiger337 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I had a tick like that when I was a kid. It must have been right around the time McLain was suspended because I remember my father joking to a doctor that it came from that. I actually didn't know what was going on with McLain at the time. Anyway, the doctor asked if I was a lefty or a southpaw. I started to correct him, but my father stopped me since the doctor was either messing with me or was being stupid. I suspect the former. Wow, it's weird how that all just came back to me. The tick didn't last long. 1 Quote

Yeah, the whole situation was really cringe. I was truly expecting the worst to happen and it didn’t. It would really be something if this team started firing on all cylinders again. If a team is gonna stumble, this is the time to stumble when you had a 14 game lead. Now is the time to right the ship. Quote
papalawrence Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Anyone remember Jim Eisenreich? Dude could hit, but he struggled with Tourette's Syndrome and had pronounced facial and body tics. Riley has a slight tic. Quote
