I was always given #15 because the jerseys went small yo large in size and number.   And nobody good wore that # in the early 80s. I finally got #4 in high school being a freshman. By the time I was a junior that was too small so I took 4 squared. (Bo Jackson)

Houston beat the Yanks. They are 3.5 behind Detroit for first round bye. Alvarez is healthy now. Went 4-4 today. 

ChiSox are playing better. Detroit needs to take that series.

The Bye is the big get for me.  They have never earned home field advantage in the playoffs.  During the recent run, post 2006 they  never had it except 2006 and that was because the AL won the ASG.  

Does it mean anything?  Not really but having one of the better records among playoff teams is a record of success.  As good as the teams were in 2011-2014 there were other teams better during the regular season.

It's a bit confusing when there are multiple teams involved. A combination of 17 Tiger wins and Houston losses gets us a 1st round bye? Right now Toronto is 1/2 game ahead of us and they have the tiebreaker. So they're a game and half up. The division seems pretty safe, but yeah, having a bye and home field advantage would be nice. At least for the ALDS.
