I actually don’t care what happens after this. This is so sweet, anything after this is gravy. It would be great to keep moving on, but I’m just savoring this right now.

Beating Cleveland, the team that beat us 16 times one year or whatever? Damn this makes me happy.

That mostly takes the stench out of the late season collapse.  Not totally because I care about the regular season and I wanted a division title, but they are now in pretty much the same position as they would have been without the collapse.  This season will no longer be remembered by most fans as the biggest choke ever.  So, now we can relax and enjoy the rest of the post-season!

I obviously haven’t watched every mlb game this season, but I’d have a hard time believing Tork doesn’t lead the league in balls called strikes

I think someone looked into that last year and Tork was definitely a victim of lots of balls called strike. Likely same this year.

MLB TV will be showing the Tigers press conference in the next few minutes. They have the title card up right now but the press conference at hell itself hasn’t started yet. i’d love to see the locker room celebration.

So satisfying.

Not real wild about having to play on the West Coast next round….but happy we are still playing regardless.   The Toronto vs BOS/NYY series is going to wear those teams out.

Will be curious to see what we do with the roster for the next round.  Would be nice if Keith could be back.

I’m liking that Ramirez got thrown or tagged out three times in the last 10 innings.

I know he's the enemy but I like Jose Ramirez.  He a great player that gives 110% and he's kind of old school.  He chose to resign with Cleveland probably for a lesser amount than go for a big payday in the FA market. That's very rare today.  As a bonus he knocked the snot out of Tim Anderson.  I just wish he played for the Tigers.

Great game today for the Tigers.  So glad they got it together at the plate.  Perez finally got a hit when they needed it and Hinch left Carpenter in against the leftie and it paid off.
