Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) I know Skubal is a professional. I know he's a good team player by all accounts. But how are you not pissed at your teammates, giving them a great outing, with only one run given up, and you might lose a one run game. It would take a lot got me not to be pissed. MichiganCardinal Posted October 6 Posted October 6 I don’t know why Skubal would want to re-sign with the Tigers when this is the offense they put around him. One hit in six innings. Pathetic. 1 Quote

But when the Tigers seem to just want to make Skubal the next Felix Hernandez, it’s just disrespectful to who he is as an all-world athlete. Quote

Dan Gilmore Posted October 6 Posted October 6 That sucks. And hearing all the M’s fans in the bar cheering is annoying. 1 Quote
tiger2022 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 If ever there was a candidate for a playoff team to get no hit, it would be the Tigers against Logan Gilbert on Tuesday. Quote
KL2 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Both homers were middle middle mistakes. And that has been our problem for a month we pop up every mistake Quote
JackMorrisStache Posted October 6 Posted October 6 This is what happens when your pitcher has to pitch perfect. but we still got this. Two games, two 3-2 wins. Take it to the bank. Quote
Terrible1345 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 They weren’t going to win with one hit and no runs anyway. Insanely frustrating but they have to score three again now. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) Scott Harris should be ashamed of the lineup he's fielded this latter half of the season. I know he made an aggressive offer to Bregman in the offseason, but the was seemingly it. To not add a big right-handed bat either in the offseason or at the trade deadline was terrible. Harris can think all he wants about this team not being ready on his time line. But your timeline and plan has to be adjusted when you have the best ****ing pitcher in the league. You have to build around that and the lineup he built around Skubal is reminiscent of a Randy Smith lineup circa 1999. Edited October 6 by Mr.TaterSalad Quote
gehringer_2 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Really tired of watching Tiger hitters take FBs for strikes 1 Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Scott Harris has done a nice job drafting. He really has by all the early accounts. But he wants to be rigid and stick to his plan and not bring up Kevin McGonigle. You need to do something, anything, to inject life into one of the worst lineups in the majors for the last two months of the season. Quote
