Mr.TaterSalad Posted August 10 Author Posted August 10 Pacheco out for the entire preseason and camp now it looks like. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted August 10 Author Posted August 10 Not to be conspiratorial, but at what point is it socially acceptable as a sports fan to start to question either the strength and conditioning coaches, the intensity with which Campbell runs his practices, Campbell letting guys "play through injuries" all too often, and/or the type of turf they are practicing on? I know some of this started last season, but are we at the point where these can just become full blown narratives now? Year after year, we show up as one of the most injured teams in the league. lordstanley Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Still not good news to wake up to, but 8-10 weeks would be better of course than missing entire regular season. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted August 10 Author Posted August 10 We've seen this story before though. Josh Paschal and Marcus Davenport would only be out 4 weeks . . . they'll be back by midseason . . . ah, man, maybe back by December man . . . ah, they're out fot the year. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted August 10 Author Posted August 10 Annnnnnnnnd Mays' likely backup is out now too. What's Frank Ragnow up to? Is Kevin Glover still in football shape? Quote

I have been questioning this for a couple years now so I think it very acceptable to start questioning how they are handling practices and their own strength and conditioning programs. To me it’s not acceptable to use the excuse of football is a violent sport for practices. There are always ways to reduce potential Injuries. Quote

NYLion Posted August 11 Posted August 11 The Lions now have essentially two 2nd year guards, an undrafted free agent center and a rookie at right tackle starting this season. There's some upside with these guys but this could be a big problem. Quote

sagnam Posted August 13 Posted August 13 I have the pregame on Direct TV and they are currently broadcasting hot mics in what looks like should be showing something else. Not sure if this across the board or just this feed. Fingers crossed Dan Miller says something that gets him replaced. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Hassanein with a sack on Burrow against the starting Bengals offensive line. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Mahogany with a drive killing mental penalty. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Cincinnati playing with fire allowing Burrow to get hammered in a meaningless game. Didn't he miss a bunch of games last season that destroyed their playoff chances? Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted August 13 Posted August 13 TeSlaa with two critical drops so far. The first got picked, the second came on fourth down. Quote
