Not to be conspiratorial, but at what point is it socially acceptable as a sports fan to start to question either the strength and conditioning coaches, the intensity with which Campbell runs his practices, Campbell letting guys "play through injuries" all too often, and/or the type of turf they are practicing on? I know some of this started last season, but are we at the point where these can just become full blown narratives now? Year after year, we show up as one of the most injured teams in the league.

We've seen this story before though. Josh Paschal and Marcus Davenport would only be out 4 weeks . . . they'll be back by midseason . . . ah, man, maybe back by December man . . . ah, they're out fot the year.

I have been questioning this for a couple years now so I think it very acceptable to start questioning how they are handling practices and their own strength and conditioning programs. To me it’s not acceptable to use the excuse of football is a violent sport for practices. There are always ways to reduce potential Injuries.

The Lions now have essentially two 2nd year guards, an undrafted free agent center and a rookie at right tackle starting this season. There's some upside with these guys but this could be a big problem.

There is no expectation Scruggs is out more than a few days per Campbell.

I have the pregame on Direct TV and they are currently broadcasting hot mics in what looks like should be showing something else. Not sure if this across the board or just this feed. Fingers crossed Dan Miller says something that gets him replaced.
