He needs to be fired.   Sorry, the players suck, but much of this is on him too.   There you go - Pinch hit Jones.    My god, he just won't let a left handed hitter face a left handed pitcher, will he?    Platooning only works when the guy you are platooning with is actually decent.

But he let McKinstry face a LH pitcher. I just dont understand his logic...or lack of...

But he isn’t actually good against either

This is true, but the other options are Short (who is still here for some reason) and Lee,  who really isn't ready for Prime Time yet.

The pixies dust has blown off of McKinstry.  He's back to what we thought he was.

Keep rolling Perez out there.     Keep rolling Jones out there.      Keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result.      Go back and look at Jones last year.   Lots of seeing-eye hits.   He's not good.   And he can't even play defense.   If you can't play in the field, you need to be a good hitter to justify a spot - but not with this team.

This team can’t hold a lead… The offense is barely capable of getting a lead to begin with… This is a sure recipe for disaster.

Keider-----------dude, you let us down.  You didn't pitch a no-hitter.   How do you expect to win when you don't pitch a no-hitter - you stupid fool !

Is that on Hinch or on Harris for his roster construction? Is Hinch trying to get guys called up from Toledo and Harris wont do it? We really dont know certain facts but yeah, Hinch can only play with players he has available. But some of his decisions.  IF they can backfire? Then they WILL backfire.

So they need to go 64-38 here on out to get to 85 wins and maybe have a shot at the post season.

That would be a 100 win club over a full season I think.

A weak offense and a horrible bullpen. This isn't because of injuries. Its all on roster construction, terrible manager decisions and players not performing. Sometimes changes need to be made just for change sake. Hinch should be replaced as manager. His terrible decisions are costing us games. Maybe a new manager could talk Harris into bringing in some Toledo players or making other necessary moves. (Trades)

Oh, I think  Hinch has just as much pull as who comes up from Toledo as any manager does with that kind of roster decision.    I have a feeling Hinch has talked Harris into keeping guys around.

You know what Hinch probably sounds like right now.

Spicoli saying  "My dad's a TV repair man, he's got this ultimate set of tools.  I can fix it".

I think Hinch believes he can fix Jones and Short and Perez.

Maybe  Max Anderson, Ben Malgeri and Jace Jung or Corey Julks wouldn't be any better, but as we have hit absolute rock bottom now, we can't give a try?     When you say "it couldn't be worse".   RIGHT NOW is what we're talking about.  It really couldn't be worse.   Throw **** against the wall and hope it sticks is a better than just watching the wall slowly crumble.
