It's going to be something when this ban goes nationwide next year because a bunch of leftists are upset about an overseas war the US didn't start and isn't involved in.

Project 2025 can be stopped in 2024.

Yep. And one would think that we could carve out some time between the wall to wall coverage of Biden's age to put them on the spot about it.

But this is so hard to understand!

Alzheimer Biden, though—that's easy.

They want to go after birth control next.  Then no fault divorce.

A bible verse should never be the basis for a judicial or legislative decsion.

did you see Alito's latest complaint about a decision where counsel pretty much challenged anyone in a jury pool who had a religious belief that the defendent was sinful? He thought that amounted to society labeling the religious as bigots. Well, Jeez Louise, he only has it completely backwards. If you are going to tell me that you think legal behavior of a defendant is sinful - then your *are* a prejudiced juror! The man can't reason his way out of a paper bag without invoking half a dozen logical fallacies. No-one's religion deserves or can or should be given special status. That just frosts the hell out of *bigots* like Alito (yes it is a *bigot* you see in the mirror every morning Sam) that people challenge their bigotry in the name of the very freedom and constitutional order they want to wrap themselves in while maintaining those prejudices.

Seeing a lot of these sorts of comments from GOP lawmakers... but they really should not have been shocked.

In fact, it was predictable as hell that stuff taken for granted by the general public would eventually be impacted by the decision.

What's next, contraception?

Yes.  And I always thought if Haley got the GOP nomination she'd be in a better position than Trump to defeat Biden.  But she's taken some strong stances on abortion and I've read she had her children through IVF so this will be an interesting weave for her to work around.  It could all backfire spectactularly or she could pick and choose and carefully lay out what is and isn't appropriate.  But rulings like this don't help the "Well they won't do that will they?" mantra because... yes they will and yes they have.  You can no longer say that about anything once you "leave it to the states".   And coming up with a federal restriction/allowance is not "leaving it to the states".
