casimir Posted August 11, 2022 Author Posted August 11, 2022 Cabrera out again today? Waste of a roster space at this point. Is Al asleep at the wheel still? Quote
theroundsquare Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Do rosters still go to 40 in Sept? I recall there were some proposals about that as part of the CBA Quote

Tigerbomb13 Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 It’s August 11th and Tucker Barnhart has six extra base hits(all doubles) and a .484 OPS. How has he not been DFA’d? Quote
RatkoVarda Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Willi Castro is not an infielder. Also, here is Willi making an error at 3b. Why is this guy getting dozens of chances? Cannot someone else get a chance to fail? Quote
mtutiger Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Is it me, or does it seem like the majority of runs that the Tigers have surrendered in the past three weeks have been unearned? Quote

Why not put him on the IL if he isn’t healthy and then use that roster spot for an actual able bodied baseball player? That seems somewhat logical for a baseball team, does it not? Dtrain72 Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Any GM worth his salt wont want the job simply because of league leading error Jarvy and his shit-tastic contract that he 110% wont opt out of after next year. Quote

I wonder if increasing use of the curve might one consequence of a move to an electronic strike zone. A lot of umpires have trouble calling the curve at both the top and bottom of the zone. It has to be frustrating to pitchers to make good pitches and not get the call and it's a pretty regular occurrence with curve balls. Quote
Tigerbomb13 Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Carpenter has been completely overmatched so far. Quote
