I was looking for data on what percentage of Michigan voters go straight ticket. I couldn't find good, recent data. The data I did find from 2016 showed that over half of voters went straight ticket. I feel like that percentage may be higher now due to increased partisanship, but still not as high as I presumed.

The National League Central division alone has a record of 38-19 against AL opponents.

One other problem is the expectation that pitchers must elicit swing and miss with every hitter and strike out 10+ guys per nine, versus lucking into five strikeouts per nine while serving up pitches and saying here you go, hit it and get yourself out by the guys behind me.
