There’s no way they let McDavid bolt. They can’t lose him for nothing. If doesn’t want to come back, they absolutely will trade him. It’s possible he’s already played his last game as an Oiler and will be traded this summer.

There was a tweet I saw the other day, I think it was from Friedman‘s podcast, saying that if McDavid doesn’t come back, Leon is likely to demand a trade.
