This game remarkably featured four ejections. The Tigers lost coach Del Baker while The Cubs lost Woody English, Tuck Stainback and manager Charlie Grimm. Neither English nor Stainback were in the game.

I could totally see Lebron doing a special on ESPN where he plays YouTube clips of his highlights and at the end he announces if he’s retiring or returning to the Lakers.

I’ll take a stab at this. Daddy in this case is Kerby Joseph. He’s going to be back, presumably playing football, and he’s going belt to ass. We can assume that is a metaphor for Joseph bringing the physicality required of a safety and not an Adrian Peterson situation. -
The strange demons over him is a nice touch.

The league will nibble around the edges in an attempt to fix things. But you will never see any meaningful changes until the money disappears. So far, there has been no sign of the money train slowing down so I wouldn't hold my breath on those changes. There is also the possibility we are just old and our opinions no longer matter. This weekend, Coachella paid Justin Bieber $10 million to go on stage to sit at a computer and play his old videos on Youtube. Imagine that happening when we were kids? I guess it wouldn't have been Youtube back then. It would have been Axl Rose rolling out one of those A/V carts from school with the VCR and TV on it.

1st nomination for me would be the Tanana 1987 game I put in the other thread. The closure of Gibby's beartrap on our big rival from that era. Game 7 of 1968 would seem to have to be there. Clinching game in 2006?

I don't have an actual list I just know that one would be on it. I have fond memories from nearly every era. The 1967 heartbreaker solidified me as a fan for life. 1968 was special for an 8 year old kid, I loved every one of those guys and still do. 1972 the last hurrah of the 68 boys. 1981 oh so close with the kids 1984 the magical season 1987 the beartrap....then heartbreak. 2006 the drought is broken 2011-2014 trying to get Mr. I his WS win 2024 shocking the world Lots of history there to pick from, would be fun to point out personal favorites and see if there's a consensus?

Every year since the Brad Holmes era began, most of the players they've drafted in the first round were also 1 of the 30 they had in for a player visit. Same gores for their second round picks as well. The only exceptions in the first round were Jamo and Gibbs, they did not reportedly meet with either of them. This is one of the top 10 games in my Tiger history. Watched it at deer camp with 10-12 friends. What a nail biter and what performance by Frank. Trivia - my Dad played against Frank Tanana Sr in MHSAA basketball tournament.
