Democrats need to play this shit for every ounce this election. Roll the clips over and over. Tucker. Trump. Pompeo. All of them.4 points

Another thing is we would have known the winner on election night if they had been allowed to count the mail-in ballots ahead of time, but the Republicans didn't want that. They wanted to make it look like Trump had won and then the election got stolen.4 points

Nothing good that happens in my life ever has anything to do with any president. They have very little effect on my life. They can affect the lives of people less fortunate than me.2 points

I don't think he is at all what he claims to be or what his followers think he is. He is not a brilliant businessman and is certainly not self made. He has failed at almost every business that wasn't started and funded by his father. He is not a brilliant negotiator. He just bullies people and buries people with lawsuits. He is not a patriot and couldn't care less about the country other than what it can do for him. He is not a tough guy. He never had to fight for anything in his life. Leaders of other countries don't fear or respect him. They think he's a joke. He doesn't care about working class people or veterans or any of the people he pretends to care about. I mean he cares even less than most politicians do. He does not care at all. He is not a Christian. In fact, he seems to have no morals nor values at all. Everything in life is a transaction. If it's good for Donald Trump then it's right. He has no Republican ideals or really any ideals. He is just a populist demagogue who could just as easily have decided to be a Democrat if the opportunity was there. He knows very little about any of the policy issues or the constitution or how our government is supposed to work and he doesn't even try to know. All he is is a bullshit artist and self promoter.2 points

Team really needs a true lead off hitter. I know Green was propably the guy before getting hurt, but even that could be sketchy with a rookie. Maybe AJ might wanna move Baez to leadoff if sexy Rexy doesnt stop loading his pants soon.1 point

A lot of people here were really down on Manning because his first year was a bit rough. Part of it was having to call him up early due to injuries, but lets remember he was toe-to-toe with Casey a few years ago. The guy is good. Through 6 innings, 67 pitches........not too shabby (compared to our other starters this year). One mistake was a monster shot by JD Martinez...........nothing to be ashamed of there. Did not have Manning being the best of the young starters first time thru on my bingo card.... just blew Bogaerts away with that fastball!1 point

Only if the rest of the offense is prolific and the starting pitchers are young and need a complete stud behind the dish. IMHO.1 point

If Zillow is to be believed, my home (purchased six years ago) has doubled over my purchase price. About 40% of which is accounted for in the past year. Some of that is supply chain, but a lot of is simple supply and demand.... too many people looking, not enough houses being built or listed.1 point

I think presidents have very little effect on the economy. This is a capitalist nation. The economy is influenced by businesses and consumers a lot more than presidents. We are still involved in a historic pandemic which has vastly changed the way we do business short term and long term. We have not totaly recovered from the lockdowns and general restrictions and have not adjusted to new ways of doing business. So, it's not surprising that somethings are screwed up. On the bright side, businesses are still making money and people are still working. There are actually not enough people to fill all the available jobs.1 point

All true, and there's also this: we have a pretty tough first month ahead of us, so we shouldn't get unusually discouraged if we start off well below .500. Of the first nine series of the season, five are against teams projected to be among the top ten teams in baseball: White Sox, Boston, Yankees, @ Dodgers, @ Astros. Only two are against bottom feeders (Pirates, Rockies [who just beat the Dodgers two of three!]) with the other two series against teams projected to be middle-of-the-pack, and those are ALC teams on the road (@ Royals, @ Twins), against whom we struggled last year. These nine series consist of 27 games, and will take us through ... wait for it ... May 8. After that the schedule eases up some, although the Rays are lying in wait for us in the middle of May. Point is, if we finish this stretch something like 10-17, it should not come as a surprise, nor should it be particularly discouraging. Speaking only for myself, I would find any record better than this fairly encouraging.1 point

LCA impressions: really nice arena. we lucked into kids night so they had a bunch of stuff for my 7 year old to do. i couldnt find a hockey puck to buy, which sucked. the prices didnt seem that high for concessions (not that they were low). sight lines were fine and the big screens help to see the corners. it was a nice time (even if the tickets cost a car payment).1 point

Just remember..............Torkelson has struggled at the start at every level, but then when it clicks, it clicks big time.1 point
-
Well, Pineda ,Peralta, and Chafin are yet to be ready to pitch. It's cold.Pitchers are struggling to have the proper feel of the ball. It's early. Am I disappointed over the first series? Yes. What are the fans going to go if Tork goes 3 for 40? Hang themselves? Tork, for example, has struggled initially after advancing to the next level. He will struggle here as well. I am not worried.1 point
