Haha this is awesome! Even though as a Detroiter the Tigers were my number 1 team as a teen that era of Mariners team were by bandwagon team. I had all their jerseys and hats including the color here. They were just the "cool" team for kids my age at the time with guys like Griffey and A-Rod.3 points

He did not say Trump should be prosecuted for anything. Evidentally, because he didn’t March with them (you know, the aforementioned “perpetrators”) and personally assault the WH police that day, he’s in no way liable for anything that happened that day. He is just a little spoiled brat. And what…. No responsibility. I disagree.2 points

trump's hap hazard way to complain about election results is not a coup. he doesnt want to be a dictator out to keep himself in power and change the state to suit his vision for the country, he just likes attention. he's a little narcissistic brat with no real plans to capture the state, he just stomps his feet and cries when he loses. this is not to say that jan 6 wasnt a bad, horrible thing, it was. and its perpetrators should be prosecuted and the electoral act should be straightened out to prevent the possibility of future shenanigans, but trump doesnt have grand plans for autocracy, he's just a little bitch who cant accept losing.2 points

i agree with you. i would also say that i feel that way about every politician, but trump especially.2 points

yeah - Nixon's attempts to manipulate the FBI and the IRS and of course his likely interference with Johnson's VN negotiations were all far worse institutional crimes that had nothing directly to do with Watergate. But Nixon was paranoid and competent, so probably in that sense more of a potential danger than Trump. The difference is that Nixon did believe in US institutions in so many ways that Trump doesn't. That said, institutions/public were still so much stronger then, the clear evidence being that Nixon resigned without a fight because the rest of the government was going to reject him. Trump is a danger even without the competence because the rest of government/public is now so craven it isn't capable of rejecting him.1 point

You guys are really good at following the party propaganda line. Doing border inspections is not causing inflation. Democrats don't like it because Abbott is doing more for the national security of the US than anybody in the WH. And yes, the inflation we are seeing today is 100% on Biden and the current administration. For some reason we didn't have this problem before him.1 point

I disagree with the argument that Trump doesn't want to end the American Republican. Trump literally wanted to install himself as a autocratic dictator and that's what January 6th was all about. At best he wants rigged, unfair elections like his boy Viktor Orban has in Hungary with a state-controlled media apparatus backing him up. At worst he wants what Putin has in Russia and Alexander Lukashenko has in Belearus. January 6th was an orchestrated attacked on the rule of law, democratic institutions, and free, fair elections. Trump wanted the legal counting of electoral votes stopped. He wanted his people to seize voting machines. He wanted a Secretary of State in Georgia to change over 11,000 votes to declare him the winner of a state he lost. He wanted votes overturned in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin as well. That is autocratic by its very nature and spits in the face of democracy and our American Republic.1 point

I don't know that I agree with this. I think there can be real baseball fans that are too old school with certain aspects of the game.1 point

Not MLB related but this is just crazy. He's now retired his last 52 batters in a row. He touches 104mph with to go along wtih that splitter, just completely unfair to hitters, only 20 years old too. Honestly he may be the best pitching prospect ever.1 point

If it were just Trump it would be one thing - but Lindsay Graham, Cruz, Boebert, Cawthorn, Jordan, etc., and Mephistopheles himself from Ky are a cast of characters all beyond the pale of anything that should have ever come close to being elected to govern a pig farm let alone the US gov.1 point

I’ve been using the same plastic Gillette Sensor razor for what’s gotta be like 20 years now. I’ll keep using it until I lose it, or else they stop making Sensor Excel replacement blades.1 point

the best pff mock draft was the one bonghit did (i think it was bonghit) where he picked a tight end in every round and pff gave him an A.1 point

I don’t shave my head so I can’t offer advice there. I’ve used DSC and Harry’s. DSC was good and then quality started to decline. Harry’s always ended up nicking me so I dropped them quick. Im going to go back to the old fashioned safety razor when I exhaust my current blades.1 point

I want I think I'm in a similar boat except I like Pickens more than Watson. Getting Cine and him would be my dream scenario for 32 and 34.1 point

Forgetting the trade back scenarios for a second, these are the players I like at each of the picks ideally . . . #2 Overall: 1. Aidan Hutchison/Edge 2. Kayvon Thibodeaux/Edge 3. Travon Walker/Edge 4. Garrett Wilson/WR 5. Drake London/WR #32 and #34 Overall: 1. Lewis Cine/S 2. Jaquan Brisker/S 3. Christian Watson/WR 4. George Pickens/WR 5. Leo Chenal/LB 6. Chad Muma/LB 7. David Ojabo/Edge 8. Boye Mafe/Edge 9. Jalen Pitre/S 10. Arnold Ebiketie/Edge1 point

The only TE I can find that put up better numbers than Hockenson in equal or fewer games is Darren Waller. If you average Hockenson's yards out over a full season, he would rank 6th among TE's. Kittle and Waller missed some time so they would be ahead of Hockenson as well over a full season. His catches over a full season would rank 3rd among TE's. His TD's would rank tied for 7th. When healthy he is a top 10 TE and could potentially get to top 5.1 point
