lions win, bears lose = happiness. lions cover AND bears cover is pure bliss. drinks are on me.3 points

campbell fires lynn and the offense gets better. campbell fires pleasant and the defense gets better. its possible that dan campbell knows football and knows what is or isnt working with his team much better than a bunch of us morons on a sports message board.2 points

The thing is that not all situations are the same. Campbell obviously though Lynn wasn't doing a good job with the assets he had and felt he could do better. It's possible that Campbell thinks AG is doing the best he can with limited assets. It could be that Campbell is telling AG that he's got to improve massively or he's gone after 2022 and that he's not "firing" AG like he did with Lynn because he (Campbell) doesn't feel comfortable calling the defense and figures they'd be worse so AG is just the best option right now. There's too many variables, imho, to say: Offense is bad, OC fired; therefore if Defense is bad, DC should be fired. There's too many other things that come into play so say if A happened and B didn't happen that it's hypocritical.1 point

No question... overall 4-6 seems like a fair appraisal with where they are at1 point

OK, now I see what the issue is. The mistaken use of “dominate” in place of “dominant” is a Motownsports running joke going back to the old board. My “correction” literally had nothing to do with you and everything to do with a callback to that running joke.1 point

No, I’m embarrassed for you that you tried to correct my grammar and used a misspelling. “Dominate” is a verb, dude.1 point

To be honest, I wish they did pick it off because they would be pinned deep.1 point

Every time my team defers to start I always play that scenario out in my head, it rarely seems to happen but when it does like it did today it is so so sweet!1 point

Absolutely no reason for Lions to hurry up like that into a penalty. If anything you want to be burning clock.1 point

Judging by my twitter feed from Bills fans it sounds like Josh Allen is looking terrible today due to him continuing to play through his elbow/arm injury. This may be the game where they finally concede that he should take a game or two off and we get to miss him on Thursday.1 point

Pick against Rogers...forced a pick 6 against Fields ... pick against Jones. Hutch is becoming a force out there1 point

We added RB to next year’s shopping list in Week 3.1 point

Teams should just run an RPO on every single play against the Lions, they get dominated by it every time.1 point

Great defensive series to start for the Lions! BTW Giants with the left footed punter, don't know if I've ever seen that before, looked strange.1 point

Must win for Dan Campbell but also must lose because of draft picks. Prediction, 17-17 final score.1 point

Wake up and see there was a mass shooting at a gay bar. I don't understand this hatred. I never have. Why does it matter how other people live? I just don't get it. We don't know the motive yet, but I think we can guess with confidence.1 point

(telephone ring) Hey, Danny Boy, it's Brian Daboll...............how are you doing? Great, Brian, good to hear from you. I look forward to Sunday, lets have some fun. Dan, I wanted to ask you something. Yeah? Do you want Golladay back? I know he never played for you in Detroit, but we don't want him, and he whines about how much better it was there. Well, we are hurting at receiver and the rookie won't be ready until the first December game, but I think we'll pass on that. We'd keep paying him. Nah, that's alright. Locker room is good here, don't want any shake ups Alright, I figured I'd give it a shot. Cool, man. I get ya. See ya Sunday, man You bet.1 point

the dream scenario for the committee is for michigan/ohio state to be a close game and then tcu loses and usc wins out. georgia, ohio state, michigan, and usc is a tv ratings gold mine.1 point

What, you really think Georgia, Ohio St and TCU did much more than Michigan this week? Kentucky, Illinois, Baylor and Maryland are all around the same level of mediocrity. The top 4, who all struggled, will stay the same.1 point

If you have to lose 65+ games in a season, this is the season to do it. This isn't just a top 2 draft. Those two guys are great but there are another 6-8 guys after them that are very good as well. And other than Victor, it is mostly wings and guards. I'm not even counting Bates getting his stuff together. If he does that just adds another person to the mix.1 point

There's a lot of penciling in Colt Keith for a lineup spot after a good Arizona Fall League and a Lynn Henning puff piece.1 point

Jaymo is a first round pick. We add two more next season, along with two seconds and a third. That is potentially six new starters. Now you have a rebuild. Until then, all of the hot seat talk is meaningless.1 point

I was 15 in 1982 but when I saw that clip I said to myself that we already at the time thought that the Lions had sucked forever. And that was 40 years ago!0 points
