Don't agree with that 3rd and 1 throw but hey if it was completed everybody would be jumping for joy but otherwise I don't know how anybody could say they were outcoached. Buffalo is one of the 2 most talented teams in football and we're in the bottom half if not bottom third and were starting backups at several key positions yet still hung in there to the end. That doesn't happen if you were out coached during the game.

I want to reiterate that while I didn't like the coaching on the final drive, I thought they all coached a great game prior to that, so I'm not going all TP and saying that they need to be shot into the sun or anything like that.

I still don't think the clock management was bad it was just that 3rd down decision. We had our timeouts so time was never going to be factor, if we sneak it and pick up that 1st down we would've been in perfect position time wise.

Agree that the 3rd and 1 play was a disaster. They needed the first down and to milk the clock. But imagine this team next year with Jaymo, two firsts, and two seconds.

Being a Lions fan I totally expect to be disappointed in the end, but they've impressed me with how resilient they have been today, and lately. They didn't suck in front of the whole country today. That might help net a free agent or two next year.

That is true also it doesn't give you a good idea of what Goff actually saw, since St. Brown is like 5'10 and he has 6'5 linemen right in front of him, he may have not even had a view of him but it also shows how wide open Chark was on the outside and why he took that risk.

I'm not sure it was a bad read by Goff. 52 is coming through untouched. Goff didn't have time to go through his progressions.

If they scored a TD without bleeding the clock, there would be bitching about click mangement. They were about 30 yards from the end zone with all their timeouts. They were playing it perfectly but didn't convert on 3rd down.

30 seconds and 2 timeouts is plenty of time, in fact I dare say that is the perfect time if you want to score and leave no time on the clock.

Very possible... As far as the clock management is concerned, 32 seconds with 32 yards to go was actually a good place to be in. Maybe it looks conservative, but when you play a Buffalo, you have to burn as much clock as possible. As they proved in that final drive, if you give them any time at all, they will put it to use.

Had their chances today.................Defense is looking a lot better. Much easier schedule in the last 6......If they go 4-2 they can finish 8-9..............edge of the playoffs. With that schedule 4-2 is not too much to ask. That Minnesota loss is such a killer.

I respect that guy and hate to see him injured, regardless of the impact on Detroit's draft position. But I hope they shut him down and he has a long offseason to heal and figure out what to do with the rest of his life. I'd love to see him win another Super Bowl, but he also deserves a long and (hopefully) healthy retirement to enjoy his family.

OTOH, just to be clear, Armenia isn't likely throwing a hissy fit because they have some scruples about what Russia is doing in Ukraine per se, it's only about Ukraine diverting Russian resouces that Armenia wants deployed in their battles with Azerbijan and Pashinyan angling to pressure Putin to maintain higher priority for supporting Armenia.

It would be a debate but shouldn't be. No way a 1-loss Pac 12 champ that finishes with wins over UCLA, Notre Dame and Oregon(?) should be left out in favor of a 2-loss team that got spanked by 24 at home to a team not even in the playoff.
