Benetti and Petry is a great combo. Dickerson and Dirks is a great combo. That's what I would like to see most of the time.6 points

GO TIGERS! I love my Tigers letter jacket. I wish I could wear it tomorrow to show off, but it was 94° in Boise Idaho today and tomorrow morning, when I go for a walk, it’ll just be too darn hot. This picture is from mid-April two years ago. Winter extends late in Idaho, and summer does as well. GO TIGERS!! This is great!5 points

Same. Dickerson is pretty much the same with whomever is in the booth with him, and Dirks is at his best with him. Benetti is too easily distracted when paired with someone who tries to match him at his own game. He's at his best with someone like Peaches or Gibby, both of whom tend to be far more game-focused.4 points

I managed to get tickets on the bullpen wall for game 1 vs Yankees. I wore my "Now entering the Zumaya Zone Speed limit 103", he got a kick out of seeing it.3 points

I am thinking all this magic started the night in South Williamsport when we walked off the Yankees.3 points

This is a picture for the basement man cave to go with the 2006 ALDS celebration shot of Zumaya and Rogers on the dugout with the champagne and the puck just missing the crease with 0 seconds in the clock in 2008 Stanley Cup finals game2 points

You'll have to explain to them how the Tigers pitching staff works with openers and bulk relievers.2 points

I was at the last game. It was a discouraging game, it cost the Tigers the division pennant. But that aspect didn't bother me as much as how they were stumbling at the wrong time. They were in the playoffs, so division winner or wildcard, I didn't really care. They just weren't playing well.1 point

I would make the argument that from the non-pitching side of things that Kerry Carpenter is the team's MVP. Look at their record with him and without him.1 point

Maxx Crosby is probably the only one who I’d approve going out and getting. He’s a game wrecker, perfect mindset for the locker room, is from the area, and combined with Hutch would lead to teams needing jumbo package offensive lines just to get passes off. He’s worth two 1sts and maybe then some. He’s also already signed through 2026, which would work with when all the contract extensions they’ve already signed get into the massive money. But it’s a pipe dream. The Raiders are terrible but won’t admit it so he’s stuck.1 point

I saw something funny on Twitter. I can't find it but it was something like; Water covers 2/3 of the earth. Parker Meadows covers the other 1/3. 🤣🤣1 point

I also think there's some benefit to having Benetti, as a national broadcaster, linked to the Tigers. Especially as an employee although most people won't know that fact. It shows some legitimacy as an organization that they would have a guy considered a top broadcaster to do national games, rather than some local guy they can get cheap who was available, like the former guy.1 point

During my now 36 years of running a small business I have always said success comes to those who best manage change and that is so true with this years Tiger management team after the trade deadline. So no matter if MLB changes opener rules Harris and Hinch will adapt. Perhaps that’s the biggest difference from the prior management team.1 point
