😁. You’ve jumped the shark. Even more drenched in your fearless leader’s pool of lies and idiocy.3 points

Just get the **** out of here with this bull****. Nobody wants to read it. It’s beyond parody and indefensible and unintelligent. Post all you want but understand everybody is laughing at what you say. There is a terrorist running our country and you support and defend him so that makes you a terrorist lover. No different than Bin Laden.3 points

The Nick Offerman episode is based on a tiny fragment inferred from a note as I recall from when I watched my son play the game years ago, and that episode expanded upon it. They fleshed it out brilliantly. The use of the Linda Ronstadt song gives me chills, and it’s kind of personal. I spent my early 20s to mid 30s in Tucson and Linda had grown up there with her family owning the major hardware store downtown and everybody in the city was in love with her. We all have memories of attending things like wakes for friends that had passed and her recorded music was played at them and it was usually particular relevant to the friend that had walked out of life, often tragically, far too soon. When you go to a wake for a friend and you’re in your 20s your friend died in their 20s and it’s a really sad thing. Really bittersweet memories. Everyone who lived in Tucson back then has a special Linda Ronstadt memory. She was America’s sweetheart.3 points

It's important to recognize that no one is coming to 'save' America from this administration (and it's important to recognize that it's not just Trump, but the entire administration). Congress won't save America, nor the Senate, nor the Courts. Even those that hope for the mid-term election result will likely be disappointed - with a corrupt administration that has access to ALL of American's personal data, do you think that there will be free and fair mid-term elections? Again, it's up to each person to figure out what are their personal 'red lines', and what they will do when those lines are crossed. With the tech bros on the side of the administration, don't expect to see widespread coverage of protests in your social media feeds, or in the mainstream media - they want you to think that you're alone, or think that you're a small minority.3 points

This makes democrats look even look very bad. They go across the world to support illegal alien terrorists and try to get them into the US but they sit on their hands instead of supporting a young boy with cancer or a woman who was killed by these illegal alien terrorists.2 points

This is a complete lie. The DOJ has admitted they made a mistake sending him there. They are anti-Trump democrat propaganda? This is why due process matters.1 point

In what world are you living in? Sending innocent people here to concentration camps that have committed no crimes is unconscionable. Try looking into what is going on with Abrego Garcia (not any type of “illegal alien terrorist”) before trying to play some morality card with this stupid ****.1 point

won't happen then. I can't imagine the Brits acceding to the that kind of threat from anyone, including the US, even if they had any inclination to do what was asked, which I seriously doubt they do. It may push them to decide on "Brentrance" though, which wouldn't be a bad thing.1 point

Well, on the positive side in that AB Riley didn’t strike out and he swung at the first pitch because it was in the strike zone and something he could’ve pulled, unfortunately he grounded out but I’m saying this because I’m a glass half full guy and hopeful.1 point

But starter Jack Flaherty – traded away last July – returned in free agency, a sign that Detroit is becoming an inviting destination for players. “They’ve really made strides under Scott Harris,” said one president of baseball operations. “They’ve made smart moves and been aggressive when opportunities exist, and they haven’t tied themselves down with long-term contracts.”1 point

Next year is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. There had been hope that the celebrations might come close to rivaling those in 1976 for the 200th anniversary. Many of the organizations that were part of the individual state celebrations are now having to deal with DOGE budget cuts. https://www.axios.com/2025/04/15/doge-neh-grant-cuts-americas-250th-birthday?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter_axiospm&stream=top1 point

Many of my peers and I—and those older than I—remember when some of the biggest boxing matches would air on ABC-TV in prime time, especially if Muhammad Ali was fighting and Costello was calling the action.1 point
