  1. Thank you for this. Very brave as well. Bravo! I'm old, I've watched a lot. This country is a mess right now. Too many people hate each other. If there was one topic they could all get behind, it should be the Epstein list (I would hope). If only a fraction of what we hear and read is true, there are still a whole bunch of sick disgusting animals who abused who knows how many people. They need exposed and punished, and others can resign in disgrace. We have been given a gift - The Epstein files. Summer is coming. Marches, rallies, etc. Focus on this topic. This is the Big Club. The best blue light special we will ever get. The first, the last, and everyone in between. Nothing less is acceptable.

  3. There could be a video of that pig committing a serious crime and he would say..."see, the video exonerates me" and his MAGA base would eat it up.

  4. exactly. Perfect in fact. Sadly the dems are themselves so foolishly weak kneed they will probably cave just when they have a success in their grasp.

  5. Clearly I was joking in the post you are responding to. But we know Holmes gets fixated on his guys. It feels like after rebuilding the roster with some historic trades and drafts, he got a little bit cute.

  6. Parker Meadows will be fine. The offense will be fine. Remember—it’s Spring Training.

  7. Sadly, I've mostly witnessed cases like this being swept under the rug-or worse, children are blamed for their own abuse. It wasn't even until the 1980s that such things as child abuse (including sexual abuse), domestic abuse, and spousal rape were put into legislation as being crimes. I can remember becoming glued to the tv set in the 80s, when Paula Hawkins sponsored a child abuse bill and revealed that she herself was a survivor and that it was one of her missions to fight sexual abuse. This was the type of thing that a child used to carry in silence and shame-often until death. It was the first time I realized that what had been done to me was a crime against me-and not something shameful I did. And yet.... most victims still will watch their abusers go free-just not as often as before. I still hope beyond hope that this time the abusers get punished. One child abused is one too many.

  10. The good news is if the Pistons keep playing like this, we won't have to worry about Boston. 🤨🤨

  11. As long as the Republicans control Congress, there won't be any investigation. It's why the midterms are so important. If this SAVE act doesnt get passed, I could see this administration creating a false flag terrorist attack so Trump can call martial law and cancel elections. He'll just blame Joe Biden for allowing immigrant terrorists into the country. Never mind that there was a bipartisan border bill that Trump quashed so he could run on a racist immigration issue.

  14. So the 2019 pick of Soderblom can be considered a success for a 6th rounder. Played almost 100 games in the NHL for the Wings in parts of three season and then was traded for a 3rd that was a piece in the trade for a top 4 defenseman. Only six other 6th rounders from that draft (and three 5th rounders and eleven 4th rounders) made the NHL at all, only one of whom has played more NHL games than Elmer.

  16. Finkle is Einhorn, Trump is Bush. This may well be Trump's "Now watch this drive" moment the Bush had while the Iraq War was raging on.

  18. Trump kept Noem onboard because she turned certain cities into militarized war zone, and because she kept certain kinds of children in concentration camps, and because she was arresting and deporting certain American citizens, and because she racially profiled people of color indiscriminately, and because she posed in front of certain kinds of people in foreign prisons, and because she failed to respond to floods that killed people because it saved the government money. These aren’t things he merely tolerates—these are things he explicitly demands. She got fired because she started getting negative coverage in the RWM. That kind of coverage in the MSM is a plus. Not in Fox or Newsmax.

  22. Would I have picked Detroit to win tonight? Yes. Am I totally shocked they lost? No. This team without Cade is a lottery team. Not worse record in the league lottery team, but in the 10-14 range. On top of that, Ausar is probably the second most important person on the roster, and he was also out tonight.

  23. They brought LeCarre in as consultant with the British TV serialized TTSS - he'd had an on-again/off-again relationship with previous movies of his work - going back to not really liking the Richard Burton version of "the Spy Who Came in form the Cold" which first catapulted him to fame. But he was so taken with Alec Guiness' portrayal that he wrote "Smiley's People" expressly for Guiness. Gary Oldham is no slouch either, but having to do it 127 min instead of 350 made it a lot harder to get the complexity of the plot without it getting confusing.

  24. I’ve started watching the new series from Prime, a Guy Ritchie production called Young Sherlock. All the episodes dropped a few days ago. It’s fast paced and doesn’t dawdle one bit introducing the character, because you already know who it is, which is nice. It’s non-canonical in terms of classic Conan Doyle, and it’s based upon a separate book series, but in the first episode you meet Holmes’ brother Rycroft, and Holmes’ eventual nemesis Moriarity who is every bit as brilliant as Sherlock all within the first 20 minutes. It’s quite watchable.

  25. All I’m saying is that if he hadn’t traded up for Manu he would still have had the 92nd pick in the 2025 NFL draft where he could have picked up Jalen Milroe as the replacement for Hendon Hooker at the position of developmental QB. 😂

  26. I don't know if anybody saw my Tweet, it went a bit viral though. Kevin McGonigle getting an extension signed before the year could cost the Tigers up to four first round picks next year. Between a potential lost pick for his PPI (which is pretty high likelihood right now, I would say), and the AAV of such a deal very likely pushing the Tigers over the CBT. That would mean any compensation picks for QO Free Agents would be after the fourth round instead of the first round. Skubal is a damn near certainty to net one of those picks, but don't rule out Mize or Flaherty. Just FYI.

  27. I come back though to the question of who if not Manu/Vaki? And to get ahead of the likelihood that someone in the ~130 picks after them was good, why didn’t a team take them in one of the first three rounds? This Door #2 fallacy is just Monday Morning QBing in my opinion. If they have two guys they love in the 4th round, I would rather them move to go get them than sit right and take four mediocre players who all get cut by 2026. Compare Holmes’ drafts apples to apples across the league and he’s easily in the top ten. And the comments after draft day are just coach speak. They’re not going to say “yeah it’s round four, so hopefully these guys pan out but who knows 🤷‍♂️ “

  28. For me apps are fine in limited circumstances but in general I don't like it when the games I want to watch are on them. I like to flip around. Unless it's a "must see" game like a playoff or an opener where it will have my full attention... Otherwise having to exit out and then go back is annoying. Then they forget who you are and you have to log in again. I'm a dinosaur. I still have cable. I will be ticked if I have to pay for this more than I am now. I'm already on an elevated tier that includes sports, like MLB Network, Big Ten, NHL Network, etc. and that includes FanDuel. Before their fight a a few years ago the old Bally's wasn't on that tier, they moved it to that. Fine, whatever. But if I now have to go above that, yeah it will bother me. I'll pay it because I'm a slappy... but it stinks. If it were just me in the house, I'd go bare bones and get rid of all of it, like my son has done since he moved out. But my wife needs Friends on during the day on TBS and at night on Nick. Yeah, I know it's on HBO Max. That's not the same.
