  1. No matter what happens with Andy he can take solace in knowing that he will always live in Tigers lore thanks to that game winning hit against the Astros in the playoffs.
  2. Carpenter was struggling for a bit before this but this brutal week coincides with when he got sent home and looked like he was running in slow motion while doing so. Coincidence or did that further aggravate his hamstring?
  3. Wow, it looks like a Pirates fan as well unless it's a team with a different yellow jersey.
  4. It's doom and gloom according to the local weather but according to the weather channel app and radar it doesn't look as bad. As of now their radar doesn't show the storm hitting till 8:30 and it only lasts like 15 minutes.
  5. I'm of the mindset that once the QB leaves the line of scrimmage and chooses to be a runner he should be treated no different than any other ball carrier. He's no more defenseless than any other person in that instance and is actually bigger than most non TEs nowadays.
  6. From what I just saw on channel 7 it appears that there is a window from 3-6 where it should be dry, I wonder if they would consider moving it up if that forecast stays true the next few hours?
  7. On the topic of former Tigers, predictably Kody Clemens is crashing back down to Earth after his Ruthian start with the Twins. Had 5HRs in his first 55ABs with them, since then only 1 in 41 while sporting an OPS in the 400s in that span.
  8. Not sure if it has been posted anywhere else on here yet but just in case it hasn't here is the first All Star game voting update. Gleyber leads 2B along with Greene being 2nd only to Judge among OFs. Baez and Carp are also in the top 10 for OF. https://www.mlb.com/news/2025-mlb-all-star-ballot-first-update
  9. This was in the mid 00s so pre Fielder but David Ortiz and Carlos Pena are two guys that I remember doing it for sure.
  10. Greene destroyed that! I used to have season tickets in literally that exact same row, and in the 3 years we sat there I could proably count on 1 hand how many were hit to us.
  11. Now that's the Javy of old, get a hanger and completely turn on it! He was either swinging through those or popping them up his first couple years here.
  12. Kinda on topic since it has to do with the Tigers TV but I read today that the Tigers have the 2nd highest local TV ratings in the MLB this year.
  13. I saw Lynn on twitter earlier say that you should expect McGonigle and likely Clark to be at Erie come Tuesday. I don't know if that is just a prediction or if that is what he has heard from Tigers folks.
  14. Looked like Nick Anderson in the 95 finals or Ausar against the Knicks at the free throw line at the end.
  15. Looking at the remaining schedule, the Tigers don't leave the Eastern Time Zone until after the break where they open the 2nd half at Texas. Aside from that they only play 1 series west of KC all season and that is 3 games against the A's at the end of August.
  16. Royals lose again, they are 10.5 back and are as close to the last place White Sox as they are to us.
  17. I definitely want a couple high leverage relievers, it would make me feel alot more comfortable.
  18. On that note you don't appreciate how tall many major leaguers are until you are up close to them. I remember the first time I had on deck seats as an adult like 20 some years ago it was against the Yankees and it blew me away how tall Derek Jeter actually looked when he was standing just a few feet from me.
  19. To add to this, he has made 15 starts where ha has given up 2 HITS or less and 26 with 3 or less.
  20. Made his 60th regular season start since coming back in July of 23, in those 60 starts he has given up a total of 100 runs. In 20 of them he has given up zero and in 36 he has given up 1 or less. Insanity.
  21. Skubal with 1 run in his last 30 2/3 innings.
  22. Mikie Mahtook, now there's a name I haven't thought about in awhile.
  23. Yeah off the top of my head Tork, Greene, Torres and Dingler have real shots. As of the other day Mckinstry leads the Tigers hitters in WAR but I just have a hard time seeing him get in.
  24. Depending on how many catches they take Dingler has a legit shot at being an All Star this season. Raleigh is of course a lock but after that there really isn't a clear number 2. Logan O'Hoppe may get the nod if no other Angel makes it but if they take 3 or the Angels get a different rep then Dingler has to be right there.
