  1. He also had a 52 grade and 120 passer rating against in 2022 which gives me some trepidation about him.
  2. I'm not sure how the NFL compensation works but if Davis were to have a solid year and for some reason the Lions decide not to keep him and he goes elsewhere would he qualify for a comp pick? If so the Lions could recoup the pick they traded for him down the road.
  3. There's not a whole lot of guys in the league that can consistently cover WR1s, those guys are going to get their yards one way or another. I'm more concerned with not letting the other guys get theirs too.
  4. The Giants may not have much else but they should have a dominant pass rush, just another guy to help Thibs get a bunch of clean up sacks.
  5. Im not sure if he is or not but as much as I would love to have a bonafide stud I don't think it's necessarily a must, I just want to avoid running out 1 or 2 complete duds like we did last year. If we can get a rotation of competent guys I think we will be alright.
  6. That's more than I was expecting, was hoping/thinking it was basically a salary dump by TB and we were going to get him for like a 5th.
  7. Davis isn't a stud or anything but I think he's definitely better than what we had last year, I'd still like to get somebody like Gilmore on a 1 year deal too along with drafting a guy early. I think if that were to happen then Gilmore, Davis, draft pick along with hopefully a healthy and somewhat productive Mosely would be a huge upgrade over what we were working with last year.
  8. Those folks you saw at the game with the Carlton Davis jerseys will be happy!
  9. Off topic a bit but I like those Tigers spring training road unis, I wish they would wear them during the regular season instead of the all gray look.
  10. I was in High School at the time and knew very little of prospect rankings, where guys were drafted, advanced stats etc. so I had no idea how Catallanato was viewed in any of those regard but all I know is that anytime I watched he seemed to play well so I liked him and was bummed he was traded.
  11. Yep, I had to do a double take when I was watching a Raiders game last year and I heard the announcer call his name. Thought for sure either the announcer messed up or I didnt hear him right.
  12. I didn't really pay close attention to these things at the time but wasnt Justin Thompson supposed to be the centerpiece of the trade from our side? If so its kinda funny that he ended up with the lowest WAR.
  13. Bucs resign Chase Mclaughlin, kinda figured it was a Longshot but he's somebody I had my eye on it we were gonna outside the organization for kicking help.
  14. If we're making an all in type move Id much prefer it be Wilkins over Snead, not just cause of the draft pick compensation but also I just think he'd make a bigger impact on the team. Id like to then sign somebody like Gilmore as a stop gap DB who would also likely be an upgrade over what we had along with drafting one or 2 with one of our first four picks.
  15. That's impressive but I wonder how many snaps he played against them cause from what I watched of the Chiefs it seemed like McDuffie was the one shadowing the top guys for the most part.
  16. BTW we now passed the Wizards in win total who have now lost 16 in a row. It's gonna be tough to out tank them the rest of the way so we may be looking at the 6th pick instead of the 5th this year.
  17. Great to see both have a good game, always feels like if one has one the other doesn't.
  18. Ivey making up for a terrible couple weeks, hits a big 3 to give the Pistons a 9 point lead. He now has 32 pts on the night.
  19. I swear it doesn't matter the team Schroder always seems to kill us.
  20. MC beat me to it but I was gonna say my only crux on the 4th and 15 thing is that no automatic first downs are given on penalties.
  21. Has it been confirmed that he will be out for atleast the beginning of the season? Considering he got injured in October or early November it seems like he should be ready by the start of the season. Agree with what you're saying though just didn't think he was gonna be out that long.
  22. Not sure if it's been brought up or not but from what I read the NFL is very likely to change the kickoff rules in 2024 to try to make the return come back into play. The proposal is that if you kick it to the end zone in the air and the guy takes the touch back the team gets it at the 35 yard line. Basically trying to entice teams to kick it in play and force a return.
  23. My guess is they sign somebody like Stephen Gilmore or another veteran like that on a short term deal and likely take atleast one in the first few rounds depending on how the draft plays out.
  24. haha I swear I was gonna end my post with the caveat of Will Levis but I didn't cause I couldn't remember exactly how he was viewed this time last year.
  25. Along with his physical measurables he also posted the best 3 cone drill of any QB(6th among all players) and one of the best for a QB period in the past 10 years so that showed his elite athleticism. Also threw it 61mph, 2nd only to Milton(62) and again one of the best ever at the combine barely behind Josh Allen's 63 so he answered any doubt about his arm strength if there were any. He did miss some throws though but he also was throwing to an unfamiliar target so that couldve effected his timing a bit. Despite that though I think his combine performance puts him in the QB3 discussion and barring something crazy atleast a top 15 pick.
