I will because I might be a carrier without knowing it and the 4 year old sitting behind me can't get vaccinated and may be on their way to see Grandma who is immunocompromised. My mask and her mask provide a great form of protection. Her mask and my lack of a mask provides less. I care about other people and will sacrifice a few hours of extremely minor discomfort to do as much as I can to keep people safe. Once again, 2 year into this fucking pandemic and we still have to teach people it's not about you, its about the person next to you.

blaming blacks and Mexicans and then kicking a dog.

It's Comic Con for idiots. Instead of mid level super hero actors, you aint getting Chris Evans or RDJ at one of these, you'll get Sebastian Stan (my wife would leave me for him, she already told me), or Michael Rooker. Instead of being fun and and happy like at a Comic Con, you get herpes from DJT Jr and his ho.

I wish masks were required because people are gross and stupid and places like transport make us be near more stupid and gross people. It's always a dude that says "I don't like wearing them" as if he's been asked to wear a dress. I immediately think "You are a crybaby"

Did my taxes yesterday and am wondering how taxes are done in other countries. Do you have to file like we do in the US? Mine are pretty simple. My 21 year old's are exteremely simple. When I was his age I would get sent a book or go to the library, spend 15 minutes at the kitchen table, then mail them off. Now he had to pay $25 to efile. I spent $100. Been reading how companies like H&R and Turbotax have done their work to make it very hard to know how to file for free. We have to spend money to reconcile what we owe in taxes. I don't mind paying taxes. We need to. But the IRS has all of this information. Why can't they just send us something and we can say "yeah, cool, I agree, here's a check or here's my bank info, put it in." I still wish we had a flat tax on all income above a certain threshold, no deductions. Or make it X% until $Y, then graduate it if you want above thresholds.

I also saw a reference where Jack said Miggy was "building" case for the HOF... implying he wouldn't be one yet if he retired right now. Jack has high standards for the HOF.

What policy did they put in place to cause inflation? Why is there inflation in other countries? You can’t answer that.

What did Abbot accomplish except spoil a lot of food? He’s hurt inflation more than a president did. He is appealing to the idiots

They won’t direct revenue for the teams but in business the boss is the one who gives the money. I used to golf with my boss once a year in a foursome. He was good friends with a guy who owned some businesses. He had the nicest private home I was ever invited to. He and I would play my boss and another friend, they both were English. He got a call and said “sorry that was the boss”. I said “I thought you were the boss?” He says “there’s always another boss. Banks. Investors”

I bet the teams now have more data on this with e tickets. But observationally I notice people start leaving around 9:45 for night games during the summer. School season is a different thing especially midweek games. Those are throwaways. I don’t think it’s length of game but time. I notice I leave LCA around 9:45 for hockey games. That’s about cutoff I think. My youngest is about done by then. If it’s just me or with someone else we stay until the end.

Do you sell more commercials in a 2:15 game or a 2:40 game? Do you sell more beer in a 2:16 game or a 2:40 game? Is the issue pace of play or length or game? Those are different.

Are you suggesting these two belief systems are equally true?

Trump derangement syndrome is Republican Party syndrome. Yes the D’s have issues too but it’s such small potatoes to the dangers of the Republican Party. If they win congress and the White House it’s not hyperbole to assume our experiment is over. We will evolve into an authoritarian system of government and will be a generation away from political opponents and members of the media turning up dead. Elections will be rendered meaningless.

He’s still alive? I had a professor in my first year of college (91-92) make us go to a lecture by him and he looked 100 years old back then.

According to my uncles and aunts on social media all we need is prayer in schools and for kids to be spanked and taught to say yes sir and ma’am and to stop teaching kids to be gay or whatever they call it. Then crime will go away.

What I have learned is the writers are very good and we don’t know what they will do.

They represent “real” Americans though. If you don’t own a truck and take a train to work everyday in an office downtown then you aren’t worthy. Only if you have guns and wear tractor hats should you have more influence.

Are you considering Chris Ilitch the richest owner in sports? I bet he’s not top half.

I think once a suspect is free and running unless they are a threat, by holding a weapon, then you let them go. You don’t shoot them in the back. But in the course of apprehension and they start to fight back then at that point I give the officers the benefit of the doubt. If a person is totally prone and helpless is when I have the problem. I judge each incident on its own merits. This isn’t them shooting the old man in the electric scooter from 10 feet away. When in hand to hand combat… sorry. I need more evidence.

I’m kind of thinking that the struggle there was a bit much so I’m not yet going to judge the officer. Convince me.

Wife’s hospital has more flu cases than covid. Unusual to have that many flus this time of year too.
