I was most shocked to hear he was 31.  Hate is definitely aging.

My wife is from small town Wisconsin. She and I are on the same page about things. She is gobsmacked at some of her FB friends from home posting loving Jesus-filled tributes to that fire-breathing asshole. She says she had no idea about them. Doesn’t surprise me, though. As I said, it’s small town Wisconsin.

Political violence is bad, this shouldn't have happened. All of this is true. But it would be intellectually dishonest to not acknowledge the role that Kirk and his colleagues have played in what our society has become as well.

200 yards is a pretty simple shot for anyone who isn't new to shooting.  Hell, when I was in the Army and qualifying with the M-16, we had targets out to 300 meters and were expected to hit them with iron sights.
