chasfh Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I'm not sure I've ever seen a beat writer crush on former Tigers nearly as much as McCoskey does. It practically makes me blush every time I see it. Quote

Tiger337 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Tyler Alexander starting for a projected playoff team is actually pretty interesting. Of course, starting for the Rays is not always the same as starting for a normal team. 1 Quote
chasfh Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I guess this is the kind of thing being a terrible team for so many years can result in. Maybe once we start winning, we can stop hearing the breathlessly-tweeted exploits of subreplacement ex-Tigers. Quote

IDK if ex-tigers is a particularly effective implementation of that kind of strategy but I can see it might be a deliberate effort to get outside what's already available elsewhere. Quote

Just a guess they changed the headline on wire angles and reworked the top slightly if at all. Make it seem new/relevant without really doing much. Quote

mtutiger Posted April 25 Posted April 25 I personally cannot wait for this upcoming series with the Royals, now that "Downriver Johnny" Schreiber is on the team.... what's the over/under on McCoskey mentions there? 1 Quote

oblong Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I've never ever heard him referred to D-No. Perhaps the players did as they tend to do that kind of thing on the field... but reporters shouldnt. What an embarassment. 2 1 1 Quote
