well what is he saying?  is he saying skipper screwed up by reporting because two people cant report?

I don't think he is saying Skipper screwed up.  I think he saying that is what the refs explanation was to him.  Doesn't mean he agrees with the refs.

Who the hell declared them "America's Team" anyway? I am telling you right now that 80% of the country watching that game last night was rooting for the Lions. And then it happened AGAIN. The Ref got sudden deafness and it cost the Lions a victory. Now we have video evidence that Decker DID check in as eligible. Lets check to see if anyone from the officials was seen hanging out on Jerry Jones's Hooke........I mean, "Party" Bus again. And I know what's coming. The officials and the league will offer another apology to the Lions and it will have all the sincerity of Bluto apologizing for smashing the guitar in Animal House. I love and I mean LOVE that DC went for 2 there and he did it three times. It doesn't bother me that they didn't get it, it bothers me that they DID get it and the zebras found another way to screw the Lions in Dallas.

DC and his boys need to use this as motivation as they go on a **** YOU tour in these playoffs.       DC showed total confidence in his team last night 3 times and that will help them long term and that screw job by the refs (in Dallas again) could be a great motivator.

I hope Brad Allen refs a game at Ford Field next season. Crowd will give him hell.

He should At least have humility about his “mistake” which in light of home field official “mistakes “ involving the Cowboys doesn’t really seem likely.

Jim Joyce got a lot of credit for admitting he f’d up Gallaraga’s perfect game.

I'm glad you brought up Joyce's mistake because that thought went through my head as well. This seemed like the Lions version of the Imperfect Game.

Cowboys have a large African-American following in Washington DC area because of the previous deep racism of Redskins organization.  That is fading but they do have a lot of residual support outside of TX also because of military and other transient populations.

The NBA had a ref that was openly betting on games. No reason to at least have the league bring in an outside, independent investigator and ombudsman to investigate Brad Allen's decision and conduct during and prior to this game to ensure he had no financial invective for a particular outcome of this game. The Lions organization should demand an independent investigation into not only the play and decision on the field but into Brad Allen himself. I'm not saying he's another Tim Donaghy, but Brad Allen's financial records need to be monitored. He should also not be officiating another game until the conclusion of the investigation.

Funny you should mention, because timing:

Just as this was a uniquely Lions thing to happen to us during the game, it would also be uniquely Lions that the aftermath is Brad Allen gets Donaghyed and the Lions still won’t be able to do **** about this game.

It’s not like the Russian or any foreign mafia would give a crap about the integrity of the game.

they dont care they want the Cowboys to win how much time on that broadcast was spent talking about how great the Cowboys are.... I mean the Calvin Johnson Play only got the NFL's attention when it happend to Dez Bryant against the Fudge Packers

From the NFL's own rule book: Rule 17, Section 2, Article 1

"The Commissioner has the sole authority to investigate and take appropriate disciplinary and/or corrective measures if any club action, non-participant interference, or calamity occurs in an NFL game which the Commissioner deems so extraordinarily unfair or outside the accepted tactics encountered in professional football that such action has a major effect on the result of the game."

As annoyed as we all are, imagine if the Lions hadn't yet clinched the NFC North last night and this call went against them.

My brother was having a hairy cow in the moment that Dan Campbell kept going to for two, but I was telling him hey, I think it’s great, and so what if we fail because we  already have a home playoff game and our destiny will be in our own hands anyway.

Little did I realize … 😏
