MichiganCardinal Posted November 29 Author Posted November 29 It felt weird to post this with 13 games yet to play in week 13, but it felt weirder to wait three days with the biggest game of the season to date upcoming. So I posted it. Might as well win this one too. Quote
lordstanley Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Important not only for obvious division title implications, but also because GB is a common opponent with Philadelphia. I read somewhere - not 100% verified - that if the Lions win 4 of the next 5 games as long as one of those wins is the Green Bay game, the Lions win the division and #1 seed no matter what anyone else does. Motown Bombers Posted November 29 Posted November 29 At this point, you're not going to find better on practice squads. Quote

lordstanley Posted November 29 Posted November 29 https://www.si.com/nfl/broncos/news/lions-poach-kwon-alexander-broncos-practice-squad Has seen some recent action. During Alexander’s short tenure for the Broncos, he appeared in three games — Weeks 7-9. He compiled a total of 65 snaps over his three appearances and five total tackles, zero pressures, two run stops, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one missed tackle. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Alexander has a 90 PFF grade in the few snaps he's played this year. He played for the Saints when Glenn and Campbell were there, so he's familiar with the system. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 29 Posted November 29 If Davis comes back, I still think this defense is better than the defense that ended the season last year. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted November 29 Author Posted November 29 Feels like a lot of these injuries are on track to be back by the playoffs, sans Hutch and Rodrigo (and I still think we would see Hutch dress in New Orleans if we make it). Even Barnes had an encouraging update recently. Got to hope you can finish this season 4-1, which at 15-2 would almost certainly be good enough for a first round bye. At that point you get an extra week to get healthy, get ready, and try to win what would be the three most important games in this franchise's history. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 29 Posted November 29 If they beat the Packers, they pretty much eliminate them from the division. Green Bay and Minnesota still play, so one of them will lose. A win against the Packers would be huge because it would help in conference tiebreakers and division tiebreakers. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Wingo out for the season, Paschal and Levi day to day, Moseley should be good to go. Quote

Hongbit Posted December 1 Posted December 1 I love this coaching staff is always on another level and pulling out all the stops for Green Bay. The Jah Gibbs photo was absolutely staged and everything on that wall means nothing. A red herring to suck time away from the Packers preparation and add useless information into the heads of their players. Quote
