Kurtzleben (who is an NPR person fwiw) has some additional points below which honestly make sense. Particularly when you consider how much we heard during and post 2024 about male concerns and neglect of those concerns (think of all the discussions of Rogan and Theo Von and other podcasters for instance)

Whether there was a grain of truth to it or not, it objectively looks to me that women are the scapegoats of the moment.

And with respect to Sue's post: I am a man, certainly I do not understand every aspect of how women are experiencing this moment. But I have a family and am married to a woman who is not all that separated in age to Ms. Good. One of my initial reactions, once learning the details, is that this could have been any mom who found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. 

That's what makes this moment so scary and why it's pissing off so many people. If they would do it to Renee Good, they'd do it to anyone else too

And they subtly shield those fears by pointing out she was a lesbian.  Therefore an “other”. Don’t worry sweetie. They won’t do this to you.  You are “normal”.  Then they just incrementally advance it along until the only safe women will be white,Christian (of certain Protestant sects), non working, and child bearing age. (13-37 preferably).  Of course this excludes the Ms Vance’s of the world.  I’m hopefully exaggerating but maybe not.

It’s wild that almost every department social media account is now a MAGA troll account, and here we have the Federal Reserve account tweeting a video of Powell defending himself against the administration’s corruption. What a time to exist.

It's tragically ironic to me that it's the all life is sacred, pro life crowd that thinks shooting a human being three times in the head and face is justifiable simply for driving away from an ICE Agent or member of law enforcement. However, aborting an unborn fetus is a mortal sin that will damn you for eternity. 

So if that fetus doesn't get aborted and grows up as a human being and at some point in their life drives away from a law enforcement official they should be gunned down and shot for it as many times as that law enforcement official sees fit?

Nothing says all life is sacred quite like shooting someone three times in the head and face.

Is the kangaroo court attempt to take down Powell the distraction from the attempt to invade Greenland which is a distraction from the murder of Renee Good which is a distraction from the invasion of Venezuela which is a distraction from destroying the White House which is a distraction from the President being in the Epstein files? 

 

 

*i'm sure its just because I just woke up that I can't recall dozens of other crazy events that have occurred in the last two months since the law was passed to require the full release of the Epstein files.
