I think they may have finally become embarrassed at the EMBARRASSMENT that they voted in to office.

But I think a not-insignificant percentage will stay out of the next vote, and possibly two votes. They finally realized that all Trump & the Republicans want to do is to F them up the wazoo so they can line their pockets with tax cuts for themselves. They give no ****s whatsoever to the working class.

They were no-shows yesterday, and will continue to no-show (IMO) in the next election rounds (unwilling to vote for a DEM... some are too ingrained with that hatred)...

I think that's part of the recent elections domination by the Democrats. No-shows (at least a percentage) by that portion of MAGA that realized they ****ed up "royally".

I agree with this.  I see very few people switching from MAGA to Dem, but I can see a lot more no shows especially after Trump is no longer eligible.

We are long overdue for a Bruce Springsteen appreciation thread.   I am not even the biggest fan of his tunes but hes been a strong, working champion for all the right causes for decades.

I used to hold Bob Seger up as the Bruce of the Midwest but they really don't equate.   I am not a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen.  I think it is residual jealousy of the East Coast.

I'm OK with some Springsteen, especially early stuff, but not much more than that.

But the one album that I REALLY like from Bruce is Nebraska.

Very somber, very quiet acoustic, very intense emotionally.

It sinks in DEEP and the music is beautiful... IMO.

Plus his State Trouper has been covered quite a few times and it sounds great.

IE: Cowboy Junkies: "Mr. State Trooper, PLEEEASE don't stop me, PLEEEEASE..."

PS: Listen to this live (Cowboy Junkies version) to appreciate the deepest, bluesiest sounding band I've ever heard. If you like the blues that is...

I like a few songs from the Born to Run album. 10th Avenue Freezeout is one.

For all the chats with the vets in the crowd yesterday...this was in particular a bitter pill.  The male vets i spoke to in particular were mad about this.

I was out at two No Kings protests yesterday in Wayne and Romulus. The Wayne protest had maybe 80 people there. The Romulus one had probably around 200. Neither were massively attended but nonetheless good to see that people give a **** in Western-Wayne County. The Canton protest had an estimated 2,600 people according to a friend of mine.

I saw Springsteen in concert a couple of times in the late 1990s, probably at bthe bheight of his popularity. The E Street Band did a heck of a concert..

This proves it.  Half of them were there just to get their photo on Motown Forums.
