Edman85 Posted May 25 Posted May 25 (edited) All-time Tigers Madduxes, with the caveat that I don't know what years pitch counts became available. (Edit: forgot to filter out non-shutouts before) Edited May 25 by Edman85 1 Quote

Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted May 25 Posted May 25 does Andy Benes's 93-pitch outing in 1992 count as a Maddux if he didn't get the complete game? or is it enough that he started and went 9 scoreless innings? Quote
holygoat Posted May 25 Posted May 25 I wouldn't have guessed Brian Moehler with two of them, but his 1998 season was pretty decent. I don't remember, did injuries derail his career, or did he just never reach what was thought to be his potential after '98? Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Having missed this game I watched the Tigers five run inning and then the bottom of the ninth and it was pretty cool. Quote
lordstanley Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Minnesota has lost to KC. Tigers' division lead is back up to 4, over both Cleveland and Minnesota. KC is 5 back of the Tigers. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Parker led off the Hens game with a HR, pulled a middle in changeup to RF. 2 Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted May 26 Posted May 26 That was more dominant today than many no-hitters. It was needed. I mean, look, a 4-game losing streak is going to happen at some point this season, as it will for all teams, but you sure don't want it at home and to a division opponent. And somebody brought up that they may have lost a little ground this weekend, but they picked up a game over Cleveland in the last 10. We just need the Twins to cool off. Talk about a streaky team. This Giants series will not be easy, but it sure will be cool when Olson and Meadows are back in a week or so and if nobody gets hurt, our team will be whole for the first time this season. I wouldn't worry too much about the bullpen. They're just going through a slump in unison right now. They'll be fine. Is Alex Cobb ever going to arrive? Will we see Sawyer Gipson-Long before too long? Quote

SGL might be effective in relief, and if Cobb is ever able to make it back, he could push Jobe to the pen in an effort to limit his innings this season. Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 26 Posted May 26 According to the “Economic Times” of India: “Skubal is a Czech name meaning “to tear up,” and Tarik comes from the Arabic for “strike.” On this day, he did both.” Quote
