They are tied for first place over 157 games.  They should certainly contend next year.  They should be adding major league talent, not subtracting their best player.

They should be picking up good MLB players but with Harris' track record all they will get is over the hill, washed up, waiver wire players.

I don't get nearly as emotional about games as I did even a few years ago, but tonight's game has been demoralizing.

I think that better change soon or they are going to feel it in ticket sales.  This season could lose them a bunch of casual fans.

In the 11 games starting September 11, the Tigers have only led by more than 2 runs once. A 3 run lead for one inning on September 13, in a game they’d go on to lose in extra innings.

At the beginning of the season most people were happy with the Tigers pitching staff. They were in good shape with plenty of quality reserves in Toledo. Now half of them are on IL and other half can't find the strike zone. This is why you can't have enough good pitchers.

I'm just saying I don't agree moving him has a 0% chance. Harris hasn't made any blockbuster trades but if he was ever going to, it would be for a package he just can't say no to. I just don't see him letting Skubal walk for just a comp pick. Even if he were to wait until the trade deadline, what if Skubal gets hurt or has a bad season? I would say there's at least a 20% chance he'll be moved this winter.

The Tigers were drowning, but Tork’s homer on Saturday was one final life preserver tossed their away to save themselves. Instead they strangled themselves on the rope and now their lifeless body is drifting aimlessly towards shore.

I wonder if the “Band of Brothers“ thing has faltered for some reason. In addition to that other teams have figured out how to pitch to the Tigers and much of the rest of the pitching staff has had issues. Oh well. I’m not for firing everybody selling off everybody or promoting everybody from AA because there’s no difference supposedly between AA and the majors.

It's been such a slow fall from grace, I'm more disgusted than angry. Like...resigned to the fact that we're witnessing the biggest collapse in baseball history. This Tiger season will not only be talked about for years, it will be compared to any future team that blows a lead. 

2 weeks ago, I wasn't paying attention to any other Central teams scores. I was watching Toronto, Seattle and Houston scores. Winning our division was a foregone conclusion. A choke job for the ages...

Scott Harris or AJ Hinch? One of them should loose their job because of this catastrophic collapse. The current brand of baseball, being played by the Detroit Tigers, would not be tolerated in New York, Los Angeles or Philadelphia. The Detroit Tigers have become MLB's version of the Miami Dolphins. Soft and no desire to even compete. How many runs has Joey Cora cost this team this season? Keep Chris Fetter but send the rest of AJ's coaches down the road.
