  1. Past hour
  2. Meadows and Carpenter get hurt every year. You have to bake that in.
  3. She speaks my dialect!
  4. Welcome back Bert. It seems like yesterday you were posting and drifting off into the sunset. 😜
  5. The doctrine shift needs to happen fast.
  6. Something I never saw before. Seattle manager came out to talk to his pitcher and went back to the dugout. Before the next pitch, he tried to come back out and make a pitching change. The umpire made him go back to the dugout and didnt allow him to change pitchers. Announcer said "how's that for a vote of confidence?" Lmao
  7. pros: great player with range and length. can guard 3-4 positions in the nba. cons: old, so probably not going to get significantly better than he is now. not as athletic as you think. range is good but not great for the nba. i dont think he'll be available at 21, but i do think mara and morez get picked before him. i'd take him if i were detroit, but i'd almost rather have morez. he's more athletic and reminds me a bit of stew.
  8. There’s more games against these guys? Tonight and tomorrow?
  9. Its not just missing Skubal. Also, Carpenter, Javy, Torres and Meadows. Thats 4cstarters some games. And much if the platooning Hinch needs.
  10. They had the pitching. The defense is lacking, healthy or not. I do think their long-term plan is to get more complete ball players that can make contact and get on base and also play defense rather than one dimensional players.
  11. Or they needed certain pillar guys to stay healthy and it didn't happen.
  12. If there is going to be a game in Moscow, the Commanders, aka Commies, are a slam dunk for that game.
  13. OBP - defense - pitching. I do think that is the long term Tigers plan, but they are obviously not there yet.
  14. What note?
  15. Today
  16. That should come out of someone's $1776 Billion bribery fund
  17. They get it all right. The problem is the folks who blindly follow the Pedaphile Party because..."Libs are bad according to Faux News and their AM radio listening, etc
  18. HOLY CRAP! F-15s, F-35, MQ-9 Reaper Drones: US Report Says 42 Aircraft Lost In Iran War The actual combat aircraft not as shocking. Its combat, what are you going to do. The support aircraft is a shocking number. 7 KC-135s! 1 AWACS 2 MC-130
  19. They really don't get it at all.
  20. What is your point with the note above the video?
  21. Maybe this is just my own biases as a Michigan fan clouding my judgement, alongside my general lack of basketball knowledge, but Yaxel Lendeborg seems like he would be good fit here for the Pistons. First, he can help the Pistons space the floor. He's not a guy that is going to be down in the paint bumping around with Duren and clogging things up. Second, he has a decent 3pt% where he shot around 38% from deep at Michigan this season. He can also create shots when asked and is not simply a catch and shoot guy. Who needs shooting worse than the Pistons? Third, he plays good defense and has the length to guard bigs and the athleticism to go on a guard if he absolutely had too. I don't understand why most mock drafts I've read are projecting him outside the top 10. But if he were to fall outside the top 10, is Yaxel the type of player you think would be worth getting aggressive for and trading up to get?
  22. Funny, I don't remember the King of England having reign over the United States (at least since 1783) But the Grand old Pediphile party just keeps blathering on...
  23. Wonder if Alex Tuch cost himself some money with his playoff performance (probably not). Seven points in six games in round one but then didn't manage a point in seven games in round two, which is crazy with the Sabres scoring 25 goals against the Habs. Free agency is so bad overall it probably won't matter one bit but it was definitely interesting to see him disappear last round. Seems like a lot of people have been hot and cold this playoffs, but it has certainly been entertaining.
  24. I have colleagues who are being pulled into the criminality and I'm having a hard time not judging them.
  25. Thought he looked overall solid last night, some nice passes. He looked a little tentative at times but wasn't backing down from the other team. I think he's the most NHL ready of our D prospects right now, Wallinder didn't stand out much last night but I'd say that's a plus. I'm looking forward to Gustafsson's contract ending this offseason, I thought he looked awful last night and he's supposed to be their steady vet. Him and Lagesson were an adventure in their own zone. I was pretty encouraged by ASP's play. Showed creativity in the offensive zone (man he's good at the top of a PP) and some physicality and positioning on defense.
