@casimir, great job running the game threads! A true pro through and through!4 points

Watching the Tigers in 2022 is like having a kid who did quite well in high school so after graduating in 2016 you were fine with him taking a gap year to figure out his future. Now it’s 6 years later, he’s 24, and he is still crashing in his childhood bedroom and playing video games all day, having accomplished very little in the intervening years.3 points

I think I managed to get game times and opponents correct every 2 out of 3 games. That's like taking a series. I feel that's a success.2 points

I'm always sad when the season ends...no matter how good or bad the team is.2 points

I always thought Miller would have been the optimal choice for him at that time.2 points

I would say Bey is struggling with his decision making more than anything. He needs to play more like Bogdanovic and instead tries to play like Cade.2 points

Hey, don’t shoot your mouth off like that. My in-laws are in Taiwan. No need to inflict Soto on them 🙂1 point

Can we release Soto right now? Before the end of this inning?1 point

The good thing about Soto blowing the early game on only 11 pitches yesterday is that he should be available for today's game.1 point

I always like the defer strategy, I like having the potential to get points at the end of the half and then immediately get the ball back to start the 2nd.1 point

which means we'll win this game, because, it's 2022. Anyone feeling sad about the season ending? I'm relieved to get this behind us--one of the worst seasons I've endured over 45 years of being a Tigers fan. Probably because expectations were a bit higher.1 point

Meadows and Dingler were in yesterdays AFL game. Meadows went 1-6 with a 2B and 2K and Dingler went 2-3 with 2BB and 2 RBI.1 point

Highlighted area. Zoomed out for context of where we were (the "n" in -on-) and where we were looking towards (the shoreline of Toronto). It was a perfectly clear day. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a beautiful little town. Lots of vineyards in the area. We were there on a weekend, so all of the little shops and the main drag were packed with folks. But we took a horse drawn carriage ride around the town, and ended up in front of a wedding procession via carriage towards the end of our ride. Just wandered about the shops and the village square. There's a cemetery there that is actually Polish land for a regiment that died during the War of 1812. It was a whim type of a jaunt up there while we were staying at the Falls, maybe only a 20-30 drive up.1 point

Scoot and Victor both playing well so far tonight. Whatever team drafts #2 is going to get a steal in Scoot. Especially if he fixes his shooting. Best part of the game. Victor has a teammate whose name is, Steeve Ho You Fat so the back of his jersey says, Ho You Fat.1 point

Knowing full well that we may have years of this war ahead of us, it is interesting now to see this thread where the end game appears to be possible. He may well be overthrown by his generals, his intelligence agencies, his oligarchs. He'll throw a lot of them out of windows first, but continue to threaten everyone with nuclear war and lose horribly on the battlefield with no potential exit. Yeah, there are scenarios I can see.1 point

Just heard this little nugget: An average trip around the bases after hitting a home run is 26 seconds. Albert Pujols has spent over 5 hours of his life in a home run trot.1 point

It's too bad the NFL doesn't etch players names on the Lombardi Trophy like the Stanley Cup. Coulda had Stat Padford inscribed on it.1 point

What was Jim Bouton’s quote on Ray Oyler? He always looked like he had just finished a ring job on his car.1 point

Companies that outsource deliveries. We have had to have our washer repaired no less than 4x in the last year, and so when it acted up again last month I made the decision to buy a new one. I researched it, asked some friends who have the same washer, & made the purchase online from Costco. It was to be delivered last week Wednesday. They sent the confirmation the day before, & then after the time window they gave me expired, sent another email that said it would be last Friday. Went thru last Friday & nothing - Now it was supposed to be today, & they've canceled for the 3rd time - this time with no clue as to when it might get sent. Ugh...0 points
