The next chemical state of your brain is *fully* determined by its current state, the laws of 'physics', plus the sum of the additional external stimuli that act on it. There is no place in that model for a consciousness, whatever we think that is, to affect that. Yes, but Irvin came in and on a handful of snaps got a sack, a hit, and knocked Carr out of the game. That hit extended a NO drive but probably ended their comeback attempt. Also, CJGJ should be back for the last three games. Maybe Houston also. Defense has been bad but don’t expect for it to get worse. Once again, with Sorsdal in, the team had a hard time maintaining LOS. But when that starting five OL was all together it was a thing of beauty.

I really, really like a lot of what Brad Holmes has done. But that doesn't make him infallible or immune to criticism. He's had a number of whiffs on defense in particular. Some are as you mentioned above. As well, drafting a 350lbs. DT with back problems and almost trading up for the guy. Drafting Josh Paschal and getting nothing out of him. Passing on Jalen Carter for a RB. Resigning Harris, Romeo, and Cominsky to be your primary pass rushers opposite Aidan and getting nothing out of them.

There is no such thing as 'Science' in that sense - there are only individual Scientists and like any other group you will find a variety of views. In my experience of the scientific community you may not find many fans of organized dogmas, but a lot of agnosticism about transcendental questions.

Your average agnostic probably would. Not sure about the average atheist. I mean right off the bat, they are rejecting the notion of the existence of a god. They have no evidence that a god does not exist. I certainly understand the idea of starting with the null hypothesis, but when the majority of the world believes in a god, doesn't that become the null?
