  3. I assume nothing will change for practical purposes except if you don't pay for cable/satellite then you will have an option through Prime. It just bugs me that the local media can't write an article to say such a thing. That's what people want to know. They dont care who owns what or who is paying who, they just want to know "Can I watch the Tigers on the same channel I always do?" Why can't they just say that if it's true and make it easier for readers? Are they so wrapped up in details they don't see the big picture?

  7. I really think Houston can be a difference maker. The Lions lately have too often given up 3rd and ridiculously long conversions. I have to imagine a couple of those may not be converted if you have Houston out there doing nothing but rushing the passer.

  11. It was announced today that Amazon bought a minority interest in Sinclair broadcasting, the company that owns Bally's. Amazon will now do all of the streaming so we should see an uptick in quality.

  13. So, if we subject ourselves to the Pistons, can we get the Tigers at a discount?

  14. So, does that check have to be taken into the actual lobby of the bank, or can someone just take it through the drive thru and shoot it into the tube? Man, I used to think those things were slick as heck when I was a kid.

  15. I haven’t even looked at free agency or draft prospects. Well actually I rage looked at free agents a couple times when Jerry Jacobs got beat earlier this season. But that doesn’t count. Generally, I’m thinking: Free Agency: Starting cornerback, starting edge, extend Jonah Jackson, re-sign Graham Glasgow, re-sign CJGJ Draft: Starting pass-rushing DT, future starting cornerback, future starting IOL, backup edge, OT maybe, depth

  16. It reminded me of the Netflix series Daredevil and Punisher. Gritty and street level and sometimes brutal. All good series. And yes, Andor for Star Wars was in the same vein... great series.

  17. it exists for sure. xavier worthy being a prime example. look at the basketball team, they lost terrance shannon and caleb love because the school would not take transfer credits from north carolina or texas tech. they would have had to come in a year behind where they actually were because the university wont takr their credits. look, this isnt me as a michigan fan bragging about the high standards of michigan preventing them from getting recruits or saying how michigan recruits are somehow better students. theyre not. this is just the admissions department having a stick up their ass about accepting credits that dont 100% align with michigan classes. heck, the guys they got from STANFORD had to drop some credits when they transferred. its been a huge issue for the basketball team. the football team has been able to get by with grad transfers, stanford-northwestern-virginia transfers, and guys who were previously recruited and vetted (josiah stewart). it could be an issue getting in guys who werent previously vetted. again, this isnt a brag its an annoyance.

  18. So the Lions are going to host two playoff games this year. The Lions had only hosted two playoff games total since 1957 prior to this year, both at the Silverdome.

  20. sometimes the obvious answer is the answer. harbaugh wants to go to the nfl, that's why he's interviewing with nfl teams. it doesnt have anything to do with what michigan will or wont put in his contract.
