Down 2-0 Feels like it's already over with this offense.

A lot of hitting is just guessing at the swing decision point. Canha executed poorly and gidp’d at the wrong time….crap happens. His track record indicates that he will get it right most of the time.

I didn’t watch this game, but my understanding is that the Baez homer came on a ball that was actually in the strike zone. I like this “one weird trick” of swinging at balls in the strike zone. Even if it’s something casinos want to stop you from doing, but can’t.

Didn’t he finish last season injured? Might be some lingering issues.

And even after the blown play, they still had to go and get the winning run in... Capitalizing on mistakes.... believe it or not, the good teams win games like these too.

Who's angry? I'm just not that impressed at our offense. We held them with our pitching which allowed us to squeak out a win.

Well it's not mental error so I don't think I would bench him as punishment. I would bench him because he's not very good but since so few are playing well that might not be in order also. I do think if Leonard or Kridler were healthy he might not be on the team. I mean if Kridler wasn't hurt he would be up playing lots of shortstop as well.

I’m still disappointed about the routine grounder Mckinstry missed in game one yesterday. I know Hinch won’t bench him for a week but I sure would like to see it. Anything to send a wake up call to these guys would be good IMO.

In Avila’s defense, TORK! was the consensus 1/1 that year. Most if not all of the other 29 teams would have taken him that year.

OK, so they are not 2-11, but they won some games on the virtue of some great pitching, the O is just as dead out of the gate as it has been for the third year. When does the hammer fall on Hinch to change the way/take responsibility for the way he brings his hitters out of ST? The probability of this just being bad luck or cold weather is pretty low at this point. The team is messing itself up somehow. They are all 'in between' looking for what ever it is they're looking for that isn't there.

I still don't watch extra inning games because it's not real baseball. It's not a protest. I'm just not interested in watching that. Maybe if they are in a pennant race some day, I'll force myself to watch that fraud. Anyway, one game this season, I was working with the game in the background and I lost track of the inning. All of the sudden there was a man on second base and I got pissed at the pitcher. It think it was Lange. Not sure.
