If he was a right winger he'd be elected President. The left purges their pedos. The right elevates and defends them. Shooting fish.... Jesus Christ...the stupidity7 points

Maga doesn’t get to argue about the justifications for this war. No more foreign wars and wasting billions of dollars were core tenants of the movement. Both of Trump’s campaigns centered around this concept. The flip flop is ridiculous. They’ve all been played a fool by a con man and are too embarrassed to admit it. They continue to dig deeper and now look even more pathetic.4 points

We need a mod to change title of this thread to: Orange pedo turd crashes world economy and gets US troops maimed and killed in futile effort to distract people from his thousands of appearances in the Epstein files Thank you.2 points

Yes, it is great to see DeBrincat, one of the smallest guys on the ice and an elite goal scorer, getting into every scrum. But let's not forget Patrick Kane. Takes a shot from way downtown, against the boards, just inside the blue line, as far from the goal as you can possibly get in the offensive zone, between the legs of a defender, off the *** of his teammate screening the goaltender, and hits nothing but net. Also, with three minutes left, springs a puck loose from the defensive zone for a streaking Alex DeBrincat to chase down. Sure he didn't get an assist on that one, he didn't get a goal on the first one, and there was an element of luck involved in both, but every time I watch him I marvel at his vision. He makes plays that few other players can even see.1 point

AI has made FB almost unusable other than direct communication with people you know/trust and established groups you are a part of. You all know I love space and get fed so much crap that's just plain wrong. Nothing harmful but a 7 paragraph AI written spiel that looks like it was written by AI 4 years ago while still learning. Same extends to entertainment. And when someone dies or a tragedy happens you get AI photos related to that. "Oh, a flood happened, here's Mick Jagger, dressed like Mick Jagger, helping out." "Oh, Robert Duvall died, here's his widow holding his Emmy and Oscar on his couch crying". My mom reads this stuff and will say "I didn't know Jason Benetti had cancer and was dying". Why did she say that? It was on her Ipad.1 point

I know he's got a lot of movies but for me my favorites were Delta Force and the Missing in Action movies. Pillars of my middle school years and they were Cannon Films to boot.1 point

Is the argument here that Biden should time travel back to the time when he was President to remove the bust now that the information about Chavez came out?1 point

The only other thing I can guess is that Trump was s***ting us the whole time, the red hats knew he was s***ting us, and this is exactly what all of them wanted in the first place. Because remember: warrior culture craves war.1 point

This is the easiest thing in the world to predict and assumed this was happening, but I have long thought it actually goes beyond this.1 point

It's not an easy schedule by any means but these are the Celtics playoff/play opponents... Minny, OKC, Atlanta, Charlotte, Atlanta, Miami, Toronto, Charlotte, Knicks and Orlando. Of their final 12, they play 9 of 12 against play in or playoff teams and the play in teams in the east this season are pretty strong. If the Pistons go, lets say, 7-7, the Celtics would have to go 10-2 as I believe the Pistons win the tiebreaker. That's a tall task for the Celtics even with the Pistons not having Cade and it's not like the Pistons have been junk without Cade this season.1 point

Others have said it, but Wonnum is the Davenport/Paschal replacement, not the AQM/third-down pass rush specialist replacement. AQM ended up being DE2 by default last year since Davenport missed most of the season. He played over 40% of defensive snaps, Davenport played only 25%. in 2024 Paschal played 50% of snaps with AQM getting less than 25% of snaps. Last year, AQM had to be on the field for a lot of situations he was absolutely not capable of handling. Detroit is looking to Wonnum to be on the field opposite Hutch for probably two-thirds of defensive snaps. I don't think signing Wonnum and not signing AQM means the team doesn't value a 3rd down pass rush specialist, it means they need someone to play 1st and 2nd down now that they've moved on from Paschal and Davenport.1 point

He was tried and convicted of murder. Was it trumped up? Probably. But we have a Supreme Court here in the US that says you can't reconsider our cases of capital punishment even given evidence of innocence because outcomes 'must have finality'. It's fine to call out Iran's practices of state murder as barbarous, but consistency would at least require we do the same for ourselves.1 point

The Lions have made it a priority to stop the run and make teams more one dimensional against us. They have stated that this is their preferred defensive philosophy multiple times. Would they like both yes that’s why they have Hutchinson but if having to choose one or the other for the same cost they wilL take the run stopper every time. Not that it matters what I think but I agree with them. A run stopper is going to have more consistent impact than someone who only is good at getting to the QB.1 point

YES, you should. I didn't intend to visit Denmark when I last went to Europe. We had intended to travel to Austria (Vienna) and Germany (Berlin, Munich, and the Munich countryside) and we ended up in Copenhagen Denmark instead of Austria. Still went to Germany though. We LOVED Copenhagen and Denmark! Copenhagen has an amazing food scene, wonderful history, the kindest people you'll ever meet, and the cleanest, most reliable metro system you could ever ride on. Do yourself two favors if you go to Denmark and Copenhagen. One, go to a place call Beast Pizza and get their 7 course meal with the homemade burrata cheese (It's the yellow-ish butter-like looking lump in the last photo below) and then go to the Torvehallerne food market and get yourself a duck confit sandwich from the French sandwich maker there (assuming he's still got his shop). You won't be disappointed eating those either of things.1 point
